Crush Advice

Crush Advice cont from here w/ @mp-cabrakan ft Muzen & Cabrakan 

Muzens eyes widen as the mound beside him begins to choke and splutter, very soon breaking it with a laugh that has the small god’s eyes narrow with an accusatory glare. “Yah-” he warns, in no mood to be laughed at, before Cabrakan answers that he is interested in Camazotz’s height, that has small hands ready to fly in his direction, before he’s simmered down a little as the god explains. However only stating Camazotz’s many good points doesn’t help him! His crush was already becoming unbearable, and the unreciprocated nature of it even worse! 

With a pout, Muzen huffs, deflated as Cabrakan returns to his work out, but his answer had been less then helpful. “Not that he likes me, and I’m definitely not tall” he grumbles, not paying any attention to actually spotting the man, he isn’t even sure he really understands what that means, as his eyes roam around the room of physically fit individuals.

“Let us all enjoy ourselves. Thank you, for joining me this evening.” Camazotz said as he smirked to his fellow Mayans and brought the red rose in his hand up to his face covered by the white mask, tipping his chin down. “I am the rose that slashes evil.”

Though he surely could’ve combined a few of his suit pieces to get the look, it hasn’t even come to the director’s assistant his mind to do that and save himself a couple bucks. Instead he bought the whole custome tailor made to his size from a costume maker he discovered online and worked closely with through email to make sure it was both true to the original and fitting for his stature. Of course not a single accessory is left out as he wears the hat, the mask, the cape and the gloves. He even walks in with a red rose in his hand, ready to strike the poses most iconic for who he was portraying.

dinner “date” starter for @mp-cabrakan

In all honesty, Krystal only entered the raffle to donate to the charity of Poseidon’s choice. She was not expecting to actually win a dinner with a god of all things. This was some sort of record for her, two dates in less than a week - it was more of a miracle really. Krystal gave up on online dating and apps after meeting Sveinn all those many months ago so, getting set up on a blind date and then winning a date all in one week? Insanity. Either way, she wasn’t about to chicken out so she took a deep breath and waltzed into Noona.

After giving her name to the host, she was lead to an empty table. Krystal let out a relieved sigh, thankful she’d have a few minutes to prepare herself. She already met Cabrakan at the hospital, working together several times thanks to unruly patients and long night shifts. A waiter came by not long after she’d been seated and she ordered a glass of wine to help her nerves. In all honesty, Cabrakan intimidated her but, most gods did. The pure authority they exude always had her anxious beyond belief.

It was hard to miss him as the same host that seated her brought the god over to meet her. It was a habit as Krystal stood to greet Cab, bowing slightly and giving him a polite smile. She was wearing a long, black, flowing dress with gold florals along the bottom of the skirt and long sleeves. It was a lightweight fabric with mesh in some places as well as a slit up along her right leg. She had a wide-brimmed black hat on her head, stacked necklaces along her chest and comfortable, short, suede boots on her feet. The slight heel making her a bit taller than she usually was.

“Cabrakan, this is an interesting way to meet outside of work, isn’t it?”

Chef’s Little Helper

starter for @mpmateo (and eventually @mp-cabrakan) ft Muzen, Mateo and Cabrakan

“Mateo! Mateo!” With a catering basket full of fresh ingredients Muzen is stomping his way towards the large kitchens of the venue for tonight’s party as his amber eyes shimmer with a golden irritation. “Where is that boy?!” He huffs and puffs to himself, moving to set the tray down on the nearest counter top before blowing a stray lock of blonde form his forehead as he starts to look around. 

Mateo had been roped in to help him cook and prepare for the party, not to disappear and leave all the cooking to him! “I swear, I am going to bring back ritualistic sacrafice just for him if he’s sleeping somewhere!” He grumbles, rolling up the sleeves of his jumper before stomping off in search. “He’ll be peeling sweet potatoes for a week!” 

There was a very hectic schedule to stick to if Muzen was going to get all the dishes for the buffet done and have time to go home, feed his friends and get changed! Does his little helper not understand that body paint and gold take time! First things first the van of supplies needs unloading, and that little roach is no where to be found! 

“Ma-teo!” Muzen yells one last time before glancing down to a collection of little beetles that had gathered, drawn by his irritation. “Find him!” He shouts, gesturing them off before stomping off himself to the kitchen and grabbing his apron on the way.

Mr Wolf

Mr Wolf - Halloween Plot ! @mp-cabrakan | Muzen & Cabrakan 

With the soft patter of sock-covered feet, Muzen hurries around his apartment as he prepares for a visitor. There weren’t many people who had been to his apartment for the simple fact that there wasn’t a lot of space! Filling nearly every inch of his home was either lush greenery, making habitats for any kind of bug and insect, or tanks for his slightly more exotic friends. Stepping inside was like being transported into the forest or parks he loves so much. With low hanging banana leave trees covering walls and bamboo reeds filling his bathroom. It was neat and tidy but in his own chaotic way. 

There is a well travelled pathway through the whole apartment, and the necessarily locations left clear... enough. His bedroom was relatively peaceful, only a large yucca plant filling one corner, where Mantis and her family live. The rest of the space had to give way to Muzen’s clothes, something else he seemed to be collecting with this new body. He had tried to clean out a much extra space as possible, because his guest was very large and has very big feet.

He had invited Cabrakan around to help the other man get into his costume for the nights ball, and even though they were good friends, the honey god feels a bubble of nervous anxiousness in his belly when he thinks about it. They hadn’t exactly spoken about that time just over a week ago, but Muzen has to confess to thinking about it often. As he stops by the large mirror in his room, the Mayan god’s eyes close and instantly he can remember the searing touch of every finger tip and the sensation of deep breath against his ear. It’s enough to have his every inch alight with tingling sensitivity, until a butterfly lands on his nose. Slowly extending her large, beautiful wings as the god’s eyes snap open and he huffs. “I thought I asked you guys to leave for the night!” He huffs before marching to the window to open it and shoo her out with the rest. 

Leaning back from the window he hears the shrill ring of his bell and with a tug has it closed before he’s skidding off through the apartment to the door. Pulling it open, now a little breathless as he leans against the doorway in the gap, his bright smile widens seeing the bulky body of his friend stood in the hallway, 7PM, exactly on time. “Cabrakan-” he breaths, smile only brightening whilst his insides to wiggly worm flips.

Awkward Chats

With a small tug at the bottom of his sweater, Muzen walks a little tentatively into the man’s kitchen as he worries the soft fabric between his fingers. Yesterday he had bound in her so confidently, now as he watches the mountain god’s broad back whilst he busies himself making tea, Muzen can’t displace the awkwardness that was starting to feel like a hot itch under his skin! 

“Are we going to talk about last night?” 

There, he’d said it. The words burning in his mind like kisses had burnt his lips and fingertips still marred his skin. Dressed in an oversized jumper, one of his usual knitted, lumpy monstrosities, to cover kiss marks on his neck or finger presses left on slim wrists. All tell tale signs he would rather keep to himself when moving around the Mayan apartment block. Well, and the man who left them. 

His honey coloured eyes widen with concern as he watches Cabrakan react, broad shoulders slump before turning to him and taking a seat. Cabrakan would be kind about it, but this was likely to suck, big time. He’s not sure when he’d started to hope for more then friendly advice and help from the man, but here he is, about to have whatever it is crushed into pieces by giant size 13s. “It’s okay!” He pipes up quickly, as the mountain god sits and Muzen draws up his own hands behind large sleeves to thread his fingers together and press them to his own chest. Whatever the god was about to say, Muzen didn’t want to wear the hurt and embarrassment of it on his face, so he plasters on a smile and stops him. 

“Let me finish that tea, do you still have the honey I gave you? It goes great in tea-” he nods quickly, moving past the man to busy himself with something, because that worried look in the other’s eyes was going to kill him if he didn’t look away.

Bringing his dear old brother @mp-cabrakan​

He told his lover, his brother, his long-time friend, that he had to come. And so here they were, walking in side by side with heads held high. Cabrakan, the larger of the two, surprisingly gently for his stature grabbed him by the wrist and the man leaned in closer to whisper to his ear. Whatever it was, being whispered to Camazotz, it must’ve been because Cabrakan said it that for many it might be their first time seeing him genuinely smile.

Although normally one for straight cut and more simple but chic design suits, Caça uses the gala to show off his actual favorites. Surely events were there to particularly dress up for, correct? Gorgeous patterns with pops of rich color and even some gold are his favorite, patterns that follow rules and systems just like him and reminding of Mayan styles. As such he’ll be wearing a beautifully colored striped jacket and no shirt, showing off his chest which is accentuated by the necklace.  Obviously though, he wouldn’t leave his apartment without a watch, and he picked one of his lesser worn ones, but again a favorite, for the occassion.

Welcome, brother

The rental car was driving at the maximum allowed speed, music coming from the speakers as it and the two passengers in it were animatedly talking and about to reach their destination, crossing a major bridge that only few in the world will able to see. Cabrakan and Camazotz were of course one of those few, as gods of the Mayan pantheon. It always felt a bit odd when Caça drove this road, as the bridge was long, giving a rather beautiful and all-encompassing view of ocean. Like you were driving on the water itself. This time though, the light smile on his lips was definitely not that view. It was instead caused by probably who would call his closest friend, brother even. Cabrakan. After many years, decades, centuries, they were living in the same place again from this day forward until their paths diverged again. It was all thanks to Cabrakan having found himself looking for a more, perhaps quiet or peaceful lifestyle for a little while. Or maybe he was just bored with humans. Regardless, he looked for a safe haven and Caça could provide. Namely by suggesting for his brother to move to the very place he was living himself, Mount Phoenix. An island for gods and demi-gods to live. If he knew Cabrakan, he knew the man also liked his fun though... And he didn’t mind him bringing it closer towards him. 

The bridge went on but eventually ended and soon they were driving into the city of Mount Phoenix. The bat god decided this was a good time to make a quick tour around and point out some things on the island. The university, the different areas of the city like where to go for a night out or where to go for good food, and also the more quiet side with the forest and of course mountains. Which Cabrakan, god of the mountains would surely appreciate seeing. It was probably a weird sight to most of the people who knew Caça. As he was laughing and smiling in the car sitting next to this new man. This side of him was reserved for those as close to him as Cabrakan, those who really put him at ease. Simply by their relationship that was as old as time as well as their shared Mayan heritage. Neither needed to pretend or hold back on anything, and they could always trust on one another. A true friendship. 

With exchanged jokes about Cabrakan his biceps resembling the mountaints, Camazotz his ‘bird friends’ in the sky, the tour came to an end and the two gods arrived at the complex holding that apartments of the Mayans. Camazotz helped the other god bring his bagage up to the top floor, where the apartments for the gods were. Once at the door, number 4, Caça turned to his friend with a smile. “That’s you. I arranged that our apartments are next to each other, so i’m living in number 5.” He pointed at the next door over, the apartment he had moved into last week as he had previously occupied number 2. Sadly, number 3 and 1 had both already been taken. “Let’s go in then so you can get used to your new place.” A lopsided grin played on his lips as a strong hand patted a much stronger back. Cabrakan clearly hadn’t let down on the muscles to this day. As expected of the Mayan god of mountains.
