i'm in my high school symphonic band (bass clarinet & Eb contrabass clarinet) and jazz band (baritone saxophone) and i love to make instrument headcanons. so here are my mp100 hcs

mob: gives me trombone vibes (probably cuz mob reminds me of my best friend who plays it). not very good at big brassy-style stuff but oh my god he is so good at being lyrical on that thing. brings everyone in the audience to tears. i could see him using music as a way to express his emotions since he struggles to emote normally

ritsu: something stereotypically played by high achievers, like oboe. OR something that compliments trombone well, like string bass, so he can back up his brother because he has such a complex.

reigen: drum kit (in a more rock setting) because it's cathartic getting to absolutely crash out on the drums. in a more classical setting, i could see him doing something like piano or percussion, mostly thanks to the hand-eye coordination needed. oh my god, highschool reigen marching the bass drum.

serizawa: acoustic guitar or vioa. i say guitar considering he spent so much of his life as a shut-in, and that's a common instrument people pick up outside of bands. the viola voice is just really pretty and like, it sounds like serizawa. i don't even know if i make sense but it checks out to me ok.

teruki: something stereotypically pretentious, like flute or trumpet, to reflect his personality pre-mob. in my experience, most musicians (in band/orchestra settings) start young which is why i'm choosing to go off of that time in his life. i myself joined band when i was like, 9-10 years old. probably sings too.

tome: i don't see her being very into playing instruments, but if she did then the keyboard specifically. she probably heard one make the stereotypical alien sounds and was like "i NEED to make alien music"

dimple: hasn't played since he died however long ago, so probably lost the skill, but i could see him on an alto saxophone maybe...?

shou: his dad was probably the type to force shou to take piano lessons for whatever reason. he's pretty good at piano but doesn't enjoy playing (it's more of a party trick atp for him).

tsubomi: clarinet or flute for sure. she's "perfect", right? and stereotypically girls like her play the standard clarinet &/or flute.

my hc i would use if i actually wrote fanfiction is that reigen could technically sense an aura that is nearby and powerful enough. i want mob using his powers to feel staticky like lightning is going to strike. this would fulfill me personally

Ok I have some headcanons in my mind, but one particularly has haunted my thoughts these days

What if Teru comes from a rich family, but has always had a bad relationship with his abusive father (who hates him because he's scared of his powers). He still cares about his mom, so he asked to his parents to live alone in a flat far away from them for their own safety.

But when his apartment got burned down, he had to face his father to rent a new one. The father got really mad and aggressive against Teru, who is so scared of him that his whole body is paralyzed and can't use his powers. and kicked him out of the house.

Teru wandered around the city, all covered in blood and bruises, not knowing or caring where he's going. But he soon found himself in front of Reigen's office building, unsure of what to do. Just when he decided to leave, Reigen came out of the building. Teru tried to cover up his face, but Reigen understood immediately that something was off, so he took him back to his office, he medicated him and gave him something to eat, while listening to his story. Reigen then decided to host Teru in his apartment for as long as he wanted.

And that's the story of how Reigen officially adopted Teru.

Sleepy MP100 Headcanons 3/3

Its actually canon that Reigen falls asleep watching crappy B movies all the time. Screw first names, we need a character profile like that for Serizawa.

Reigen

Fidgety sleeper, rolls around and changes positions a lot

Not actually awake for it, he just does it in his sleep

Gets tangled in his sheets a lot

Would probably sleep better if he didn’t eat expired weird snacks before bed

All of his pajamas are just sweats

TACKY sweats, like the one from the New Year’s arc

If its really too hot he’ll just sleep shirtless

Falls asleep easiest and sleeps best when he’s not trying to

Likes to have background light and noise 

Hates silence with a passion

Serizawa

Sleeps with the covers pulled up over his head 

Has old habits from being a personal body guard

Always sleeps between another person and the doors/windows

Can go pretty long without sleep and still be alert

Keeps little to no furniture or other items in his bedroom

Its gotten better, but he still levitates stuff pretty frequently

Sometimes wakes up hanging from the ceiling like a blanket cocoon

Has room darkening curtains over the windows

Before Reigen started cutting his hair, he would put it in a bun/ponytail to keep it out of his face

since you want terumob hcs then here it is: teru says he isnt jealous of how touchy mob's friends are with mob but sometimes he needs to "loudly" present his friendship with mob to the whole world like a blatant arm around mob's waist or shoulder or even hand holding because its necessary to affirm these things you know

I agree with no complaints, afterall, it would be natural for teru to publicly confirm his "special special" relationship with mob (formed by trials and tribulations and hair loss btw) because mob can be considered as his first true friend, plus mob's the first natural esper teru meti can imagine teru making logical reasons why him and mob should holds hands...teru's good at getting what he wants (85% of the time)...but maybe he's not so good at sharing yetmaybe he worries that someone in mob's circle may "respect" mob as much as he doesbut of course, teru is totally the jealous type. and the first two people to realize this are tome and shou: they'll both have fun with that piece of knowledge
