OC-tober 2025 - Day #3: Opposite personality

Drew my Mob Psycho 100 Oc, Yaza for this! Ft. Ritsu sneak because I love my son very much.

Either way both versions of Yaza are pathetic, just in different ways.

Tomoko Gou 💐

Age: 32

Designation: Non-esper

Family: Mother and father. Her father is in prison for several DUIs. Her mother's a stubborn ornery bitch.

Likes: Flowers, reading, knitting, terrible game shows, sad stories, vanilla cake, strawberry milk, classical music, drawing, peace and quiet.

Dislikes: Sudden loud noises, broccoli, The Evil Big Cutlery™, getting yelled at, alcohol.

Yes she does look a helluva lot like Mob and that is on purpose :3

Expansion and color variants under the cut!

Tomoko-san is 31 at the time of the end of S3, and 32 when she and Reigen meet for the first time! She's a quiet, "strange" woman who's had trouble finding a husband so her mother decides to. Help™ (-_-) By setting her up with the son of another mom who keeps trying to marry her child off—Mrs. Reigen! :D

Reigen, who has recently been confronted by Mob's romantic feelings, finally decides to take his mother up on her arranged marriage idea in hopes that it'll discourage Mob's affections. Gou is the first woman he's been romantically involved with in years, and it shows. They're both very unsure and shy ^^

Gou is a tall, thoughtful woman who loves to read and loves flowers, and she's very understanding of Reigen. (She DOES look incredibly like Mob, which helps in some ways but isn't really Reigen's design. Just a happy accident 🫶) Gou is actually very successful in her field of work, which further ostracized her from men that're intimidated by her—she's not hurting for money at all, she's kind, and she treats Reigen well. She's a sweet lady <3

Which means that Mob can't find it in him to hate her and it upsets him SO. BAD. Throughout all of this, Mob is still trying to win Reigen's affections because he knows that the only reason Reigen got engaged in the first place was because he returns Mob's feelings and didn't want to give in to temptation.

"If you really didn't love me, you wouldn't have needed to hide behind an engagement ring."

Reigen is just trying to avoid Mob by spending as much time with Gou as possible, which leads to him developing feelings for her. Not love, per se, but he does end up caring for her a lot and feels guilty that he's essentially using her to run from his problems. But she knows and doesn't really mind. She'd really be the perfect woman for him in another life. It's just a shame they hadn't met earlier :'3

Some color variations! Gou tends to like brightly colored clothes and fun jewelry but has to wear clothes in general grayscale for work (⁠ᗒ⁠ᗩ⁠ᗕ⁠) Stinky

Luckily, Reigen likes her eccentricities :3 Another reason their mothers thought they'd go well together.

Okay so I finally got around to making Hitomi’s reference sheet (click for quality) so I can post it here. Also hi! I haven’t been “marketing” this blog a lot but basically my idea was to create a blog where Mob Psycho 100 fans can submit their mp100 ocs to a sort of “oc hub” and you can draw other people’s ocs if they’ve submitted them here too. You don’t have to be nearly as detailed as I was here for your own ref sheets, of course.

Anyway here’s Hitomi! I made her for a one-shot on my ao3 and then got attached to her and gave her more of a backstory. And then more backstory. And then a story involving her interacting with the Spirits and Such gang. And well...yeah it just keeps on going. My main is @birbliophile​, in case you’re wondering.

BASIC INFORMATION:

Name: Furukawa Hitomi (she/her), lesbian

Age: 31 years old

Height: 168 cm

Esper Ability: Psychometry (receives visions of the past by touching objects)

Likes: Unusually flavored drinks (developed during her recovery from alcoholism. Also I mean like, pineapple-matcha-grape diet coke weird), bad romance novels, and collecting objects that have good memories attached

Dislikes: The taste of headache medicine, hot weather, and manipulative people (uh oh Reigen)

BACKSTORY:

Having awakened to her powers at a young age, Hitomi grew up constantly struggling with sensory overload from everything brushing against her bare skin, though she eventually developed techniques to isolate the sensations mostly in her hands. Feeling as if her parents treated her like a fragile doll and desperately wanting some measure of control over her life, her teen years were fraught with conflict and harmful coping mechanisms. As an adult she was recruited by the government to join a secret agency dealing with matters of the supernatural, and feels grateful to her job for helping her get on her feet...for the most part.

Employed as an intelligence agent and tracker, Hitomi often finds herself feeling as though the less ethical aspects of her job mean she has to keep herself isolated from her family and any potential friends, both to protect them and herself. After all, who wants to spend time with someone like her?

But when she meets a young telepath named Takenaka Momozou, suddenly Hitomi wonders if there might actually be room in her life for more than loneliness.

OC INTERACTION:

Feel free to draw Hitomi hanging out with your own OCs! Any platonic interactions are great, some ideas might be Hitomi and your ocs going to a cafe and trying out unusual beverages or comparing powers/lack of. You can also draw Hitomi fighting your OC a la Artfight if you want, in my mind she’s a bit more skilled than Reigen at combat.

Well here are some fun facts. Hope you like it!

Fun Facts:

-Noel is weak when it comes to combat. She uses her powers mostly to run her printing services,other than that she doesn’t care. However when it comes to fight an opponent, she’ll use whatever electronics around her to distract them and runaway. Sometimes she electrocutes her opponent until they passed out.

-Her best friend is Vicky the vacuum cleaner and the cleaning assistant of the print services. She will vent about her problems and Vicky is there to listen and comfort her.

-She modified Vicky which Vicky can change part of her nozzle so that she can serves hot chocoa to Noel.

-She has more electric friends than actual human friends :’)

-Noel doesn’t like rain because it reminds her of her childhood trauma where her robot cat ‘died’ because of it. Also her machine friends hated rain and she understands how they felt.

-She can read your message and stalk your account but she rarely do that because she doesn’t care other people’s business.
