Tagged by @gyokujyn to shuffle my on repeat playlist and post the first 10 songs (thank you, friend <3). Now I'm not going to shuffle the damn Spotify On Repeat playlist because as per usual it's nonsensical, but following their lead here's 10 songs off the two playlists I've been listening to exclusively for the past month:

I love how the first two months of summer were set aside exclusively for Italian pop and rap and beach music and August so far has just been...many different versions of this. We love variety!

Also I am going to be so real right now, I had NO clue where to start with this one. I was going to take the out you so graciously offered me and make it separate from the show, but the more I thought about these guys and their fucking goats the harder that was to pull off. Honestly I am still thinking hard about them as I type this, but this has to end somewhere, lol.

So in the end this kind of ended up being a mixed bag of just some vibes and heavy-handed imagery/references that probably only make sense in my own head. Super interesting though! And I def enjoyed making it a lot so hopefully you will enjoy listening to it too hehe

(Side note: I did keep thinking about how strange and other everyone in that department is presented to the audience as (at least compared to MDR, which is "the standard" as it were, in our POV) and how they have several qualities to them that implicitly make you think that they're actually never fucking let out of there, both in terms of not being able to wander outside of that room and in terms of not getting a """"break"""" (HEAVY quotes around that) when their outies take over. But then I was also thinking about what it must've meant for all of those people to just kind of grow simultaneously alongside and very tightly intertwined with each other and the animals from the get go, especially if you go with the "they are perpetually stuck in the one room essentially doing manual labor 24/7". Idk none of this has a sensical conclusion nor is it particularly reflected in this playlist but you've sure got me thinking about them more than I ever thought I would've now)

thanks, Em!! Also way to come out with a gut punch straight out the gate, Jesus Christ. Anyway.

Because I don't know how to chose and/or stop myself I did end up making two of these after all, one following the more general meaning of that phrase which ended up in the drafts, and then the one you get which is naturally about [mumblemumble] ship x the passage of time and mostly based on some current vibes. How fun!

MUSIC TAG GAME

Thanks to @gyokujyn and @mandyyvibes for the tag! Sorry it took me a while to get to it but I'm truly living for these games, they're so fun :)

The rules are shuffle your ‘on repeat’ playlist and list the first 10 songs that play, then tag 10 people. But since most of my spotify on repeat playlist is just songs that loop endlessly while I sleep or random shit I listened to twice two years ago (all that money going into algorithms and this is what we get), I'm gonna go the same route as @gyokujyn and post a shuffled song each from my most recently listened to playlists.

Okay, this gave me whiplash but definitely not as much as it could've? And it didn't earn the "do you think a depressed person could make this?" meme, which is something. I'm improving!
