Over it | Aphro & Bastet
@mpbastet:
Bastet looked at her fellow goddess with pursed lips and a look of worry. It wasn’t like the love goddess to be so down in the dumps and truly just donewith the world. Not even simply done with the world Aphrodite seemed to be done with all that the world even had. “ Darling ! What has gotten into you ?What happened, you must tell me at once ! “ She exclaims proudly. Maybe, she thinks, if she can get to the bottom of whats going on perhaps she can help. Or at least get someone who can.
She practically threw herself down onto the couch, her long hair falling over her and pale limbs stretched out. A half empty bottle of wine sat on the table before her and, although the scent of roses still lingered in her apartment, it seemed weaker - faint, really. Aphrodite really wasn’t herself. “I can’t tell you dear, it’s personal!” she insisted, but then gave the Goddess a look - eyes glistening with tears, pink lips pouted and her cheeks slightly pink, “I am lonely, Bastet. I am a Goddess of Love, and I do not believe that I will ever find Love. Goodess, I am beginning to wonder if even Ares loves me, for I am so ugly.”
No physically - because Aphrodite could never be less than beautiful - but inside, perhaps.
