Announcing my favorite vehicle at this year’s @motorpressguild #MPGtrackday: the @BMWusa X3 M40i. I’ve driven plenty of fast SUVs on the racetrack in my day, but I’ve never driven one that genuinely felt like a car. $54,300 is cheap considering you’re getting a sports car and family hauler in one package. This 355-horsepower streak of lightning was able to hit about 130 mph on the front straight of @willow_springs_raceway, which was about the same as a certain 707-hp SUV. Wow, #BMW. I’m impressed.
