  At the cheeky words of Eros, Dakota can feel his face heat up, and he drops it instantly into his hands to cover the creep of color lifting to the surface. Dickhead. He’s about to call him on his shit too as he takes his face from his hands finally but he’s distracted.

  ‘What brings you here today?’

   It’s not her words that have him blinking in shock, nor is it the way her body is so close to his, but the way he finds his eyes getting a fresh view of the delights not found in the display case. His gaze lifts from the palms of his hands right on her ample chest and Dakota can feel his mouth go dry. It actually slacks just a bit and on some level, he recognizes that Eros is laughing at him.

   He shuts his mouth and wants to look up. He really does.

   But he’s just as weak as the rest of them in her presence and can’t break away. Jesus help me!

When the door opened after the third or so knock, Hyuna gave Dakota a soft smile. She stood there with a wrapped present under her arm and a bag that contained a tub of ice cream (the good kind, with alcohol). "Happy birthday, babe," she said and gave Dakota a hug. Both of them had been dealing with some... emotional issues lately. She missed him. Maybe they could have a somewhat fun night together, despite everything.

  When the door swings open Dakota is there and he sways a little, eyes squinting at her. He’s been drinking- just a little and it makes him offer a warm smile at her. The demigod has been stressed beyond reason, for things he can’t yet accept that only a few people knew about just yet. She was one of them and for the first time in days, he thinks he could handle seeing another person. Clad in sweats and his rosary and the chill of the winter air outside sends goosebumps across his skin as he pushes the door open further and lets her in.

  “I’m a big boy now,” he slurs a little then laughs before he steps away from the door and back into the house. “Come on in~”
