Never too busy
continuation from here, for @mperosx
Realizing she was unable to predict how long it would take Eros to reply, Hecate decided to put down her phone and reach for a glass of wine, however the goddess would be out of luck as there was none at her place. Instead Hecate fetches a lemon cider from the fridge, right by the time her phone's notification sound chimed twice.
Eros' response to the casual check-up made her smile briefly. As much as Hecate had her own prejudice towards the love gods, the Greek god of f love was different from the other. At the very least, Eros had her respect and appreciation. And that was the type of person she needed at the moment, someone who could respect her and well, more experienced in the matters of intimate connections. Hecate jumped over the couch, nearly spilling her bottle but managing to save her drink. Okay, he’s available. Here we go.
She sat up, making sure her hair was tidy, using the phone’s screen reflection as an improvised mirror. Slowly, way too slowly than necessary, Hecate found her way to make a video call with Eros. After all, technology was still her biggest enemy on that human era. The connection rang a couple of times, Hecate took the opportunity to take a sip and once the phone signed as it was picked up, she bowed her head lightly. “Hey there Eros. I apologize for the sudden call. Are you alone? Is Amaterasu around?” The Greek goddess had no issues with the Japanese goddess of the sun, however the topic she wished to discuss with Eros was still too delicate to risk letting other deities in Mount Phoenix be aware of it.
