=============================================== Prayer items for May 10th, 2014: - Brian Joo: Pray for Brian's health as he prepares for the upcoming Fly to the Sky comeback and promotional activities. The album will be released on May 20, and there will be a showcase on that day as well. From June 6-8, there will be Fly to the Sky concerts. Pray that everything will go smoothly and there will be an enthusiastic response from fans. - 3rd Wave: Pray for PJ who is currently in Japan and will be heading back to Korea later today. Praise God for all the opportunities that he's had to connect with leaders from various countries. Pray that God will continue to guide the team in the planning of concerts, and that He will grant PJ wisdom to lead the team. - Brian Kim: Pray for God to continue to watch over Brian and bless him for serving and obeying Him. - Onnuri English Ministry: The English version of "Justice Awakening" by Pastor Eddie is now available for purchase. Pray that God will use this book to impact many lives through the Church and that new advocates of justice will rise up. Also, the Justice Conference for Asia will be taking place in Hong Kong on May 22-24. Pastor Eddie will be in attendance. Pray for God to mobilize the Church to pursue justice across the nations. Lastly, pray for the upcoming OEM Summer Retreat "A Surrendered Heart" on June 6-8 at Oak Valley. May God speak through the guest speaker, Jong Park, Lead Pastor of The Redemption Church, Naperville. - Raeha: She has been easing into being a teacher in China as part of her missionary commitment. Pray for God to help Raeha adjust quickly so that she will feel settled and comfortable. May God grant her insight on how to prepare lessons suitable for her students, and that she will feel confident in her role. Whatever fears that she may have or inadequacies that she may feel, pray that she will place all her anxiety in His hands and trust in His guidance. - Korea: Please continue to pray for Korea with the Sewol ferry incident still fresh in many people's minds. The nation is weeping for the loved ones who have been lost, especially the precious children. Pray that God's mighty Healing Hands will cover Korea through and through, showering His love upon the citizens of this country.

I usually ask fans what you'd like to pray for for Brian and keep track of your prayer requests. =============================================== Prayer items for October 10th, 2013: - Brian Joo: Pray for Brian in the musical "Healing Heart Season 3", which he just performed to a public audience for the first time back on the 8th. He has been sick lately and is in the process of getting better. Pray that God will cover him through and through with strength and help him stay healthy during this musical run. Also, pray that this musical will be a success and pave the way for future opportunities for Brian. As for Brian's radio show on TBS eFM, a new season will be starting next Monday. Pray that the new season will bring new joys and learning experiences for Brian. Lastly, pray that Brian's fans (BFF) will be healthy and show lots of support for the musical for those who can attend. - 3rd Wave: The "Soldiers of Light" album is released globally TODAY! Pray that God will use this album to break down walls across nations, especially those in the East and Southeast Asian regions or 1040 window, where some people may have never heard of the Gospel. Through the artists' participation on the various songs, pray that people (believers and non-believers alike) will be blessed and comforted. Also, pray that many people will show support for this album. It is a K-pop CCM album, which makes 3RD WAVE a pioneer of this genre. Pray that people will be open to this genre of music and that they will find encouragement through the songs. - Brian Kim: Pray for Brian to continue to remain close to Him now that he has settled in Vancouver. May God continue to renew him each day, giving him inspiration to open new songs and encouraging him to share the amazing things that God has done in his life with others. - Onnuri English Ministry: Thanksgiving that OEM had the opportunity to hear Pastor France Chan preach this past Sunday along with having him and Pastor David Platt speak at their annual Onnuri Ministries Celebration entitled "The Absolute Discipleship." Both the worship and the conference left powerful messages through the pastors' sharings on their experiences and insights gained. Pray that God will continue to lead OEM in the fight for justice for those who are oppressed and also to open doors to adoption opportunities so that every child in an orphanage can find a home. Praise God for the work that OEM has been partaking in to help victims of human trafficking build a new life, whether in Korea or overseas, such as Thailand. May God continue to bring more partners with OEM to combat modern day slavery. Lastly, pray that God will continue to use Pastor Eddie to share His Word powerfully with brothers and sisters at OEM so that we may be convicted and have the courage to do things that would have eternal impact for His Kingdom. - Bao: Pray for her as she just found out that she needs surgery ASAP for a medical condition. It's not serious, but it can affect her later on if she doesn't do the surgery. Pray for strength and courage, especially since she's so far from home. - Raeha: Unfortunately, her cousin Gina has been taken home to the Lord recently. This is a tough time for Raeha and her family. Please pray for God to comfort them and grant them peace as they grieve. May they be embraced tightly by His powerful love.

=============================================== Prayer items for May 10th, 2013: - Brian Joo: Pray for Brian's schedule as he continues his musical performances, radio DJ-ing, and variety shows filming. Pray that he will have good health and sufficient rest. Also, pray for his upcoming CrossFit competition from May 31-June 2. Brian has been training hard for the event, which has caused him to strain his back recently and he is still in pain. May God give him healing and protect him from any further injuries. - 3rd Wave: Pray for PJ as he prepares to go to the U.S. May God give him a time of relaxation as he spends time with family. Also, pray that God will give him a fruitful time there for any divine meetings that will take place. As for 3rd Wave, pray for the upcoming IGNITE: SOLDIERS OF LIGHT concert/conference that preparations will go smoothly and that God will prompt people to register. May those who attend be prepared to come with an open heart and mind to see what God has to say to them. Lastly, pray for the new album that is due for release later this year. May God pave the way for this album to have immense impact on His Kingdom. - Brian Kim: Pray for Brian's worship leading at the OEM retreat (see below). May God use music to touch hearts and transform lives as praise is passionately poured out for our Creator. Also, pray for the annual Jesus Christ Worship Concert taking place on May 17 in Seoul and May 18 in Busan. May God bless each individual who attends and speak to everyone personally through song and sharing. Lastly, pray for Brian's bad back that God will renew and strengthen him as he serves faithfully and grant him rest to feel better. - Onnuri English Ministry: Pray for the "Kingdom Come" retreat that will take place today through Sunday. May God relay His message through the speaker Gary Brandenburg so that the Word will be powerfully delivered. Also, pray that everyone who joins this retreat will have an intimate time with Jesus. May His Kingdom come and will be done! Lastly, pray for Pastor Eddie as he faithfully leads OEM with God's vision through their various ministries--not only preaching the Gospel, but actually being the Gospel by fighting for justice and being the Church that is compassionate, helping those in need. Pray for God to continue to use Pastor Eddie's sermons to impact lives and convict those who need to examine our own hearts in order to change and be right with God. - Sherlyn: Pray for her bunny that he will recover and be able to walk soon. - Raeha: Pray for a girl at her church, Ashton, who has been having surgeries on the base of her head due to fluid building up on her brain. She has undergone several surgeries already; however, the doctors have been unable to correct the problem thus far with each failed attempt. As a result, the situation has gotten progressively worse. The fluid build-up causes swelling to the size of baseballs on the back of her head, major headaches, blacking out, slurred speech, and vomiting. The doctors still do not know what to do to fix the problem, which has put a strain on Ashton's parents. Please pray that God will help Ashton to stay strong as she remains faithful that He will heal her. Also, pray for her parents to find peace in this storm, and that we will see the healing. Pray that God will grant the doctors wisdom to discern what is the problem with Ashton. - Marissa: Pray for her upcoming exams. May God give her wisdom and strength during the lengthy exam times and guide her in her studying. Her exam schedule: May 21 - English, May 23 - Math, May 24 - Accounting & Finance, May 28 - Economics, May 29 - Politics & Law. - Shirley: Pray for her uncle and his family. A drunk driver crashed into her uncle's car back on Sunday night, which ended in tragedy as her aunt passed away instantly from the accident and left her uncle in critical condition. He is currently recovering slowly from surgery and the pain, and now awake. However, he does not know the news about his wife's passing yet. This is because back on May 5, 2007 (same day as this recent accident), he had lost a son while the son was serving in the army overseas. Shirley's uncle has been asking about his wife's condition ever since waking up, but his children do not know what to tell him because they are afraid of breaking the news to their father. If he knows that she had lost her life instantly in the crash, it would be very hard on him since he is still recovering from the surgery and the accident. So, they have been telling him that their mother is recovering in another room. Pray that God will comfort him and heal him, and that his children can tell him the truth in due time. Please keep this whole family in your thoughts and prayers.

I usually ask fans what you'd like to pray for for Brian and keep track of your prayer requests. =============================================== Prayer items for November 10th, 2012: - Brian Joo: Brian is now back in Korea and has resumed his DJ duties on TBS eFM's "The Drive-In" this past week. Pray that many listeners will tune in to his show and have an enjoyable time together, creating wonderful memories. Thanksgiving for the amazing opportunity that Brian had as part of the cast for "Loving the Silent Tears" musical. May God open doors for him through this experience to grow as an entertainer and individual. Also, pray for Brian's transition to a new agency and that things will proceed smoothly. May God surround him with supportive staff and pray that fans will continue to show him love and encouragement. Lastly, pray for Brian to have good health to carry out his schedules. - 3rd Wave: Pray for Pastor Johnny during his stay in Thailand this weekend as he speaks at various churches and meets with the leaders there. May God grant him wisdom and pray that he will have a fruitful trip. Even though the Thailand charity concert has been postponed, pray that those who get to see PJ would be interested in learning more about 3rd Wave's music and mission. Also, pray for the Malaysia trip taking place towards the end of this month with PJ, Brian, and Xander. May God prepare the hearts of those who are attending and serving. As for 3rd Wave Ministry, we recently celebrated our first birthday. Pray for the transition to the new location for this church and that the congregation will continue to grow. May PJ's sermons be words of power, conviction, and blessings. - Brian Kim: Thanksgiving for Brian's time in the Philippines as he ministered there. Through sharing God's Word and personal testimonies as well as songs, he can see God at work there. May God continue to guide him wherever he is sent. Pray for the CCM concert that is taking place tonight at 6:00pm KST. May God's presence be felt by everyone and that Brian will be used for His glory. - Onnuri English Ministry: Pray for the various ministries that OEM is involved with, including missions, caring for orphans and single mothers, advocating for the unborn, being the voice for those who have experienced human trafficking, and more. May God raise up the Church to be His Salt and Light in Korea and beyond to fight for freedom and justice.

=============================================== Prayer items for November 10th, 2011: - Brian's upcoming projects: Pray that God will lead Brian no matter what projects he may be involved with and that Brian will trust Him wholeheartedly. Brian will be part of the cast of "Immortal Song 2" starting Nov. 14th (day of recording). Pray that he will have the confidence to perform well and that he will just do his best and not put too much pressure on himself. Also, pray for continuous fan support for Brian; for example, fans can go to the "Wave K" recordings and other shows/events to show their support. Pray for the plans for his new single or album to proceed smoothly as well. - Brian's health: Pray that Brian will maintain good health as he goes about his schedules. May he be able to get good rest at night and eat healthy food while balancing his time for other activities such as working out, relaxing with friends, etc. Pray that Brian will keep a close watch on his vocal cords so that they won't be strained. - 3rd Wave: Thanksgiving for the time that the 3rd Wave team along with Brian and Xander had in Malaysia last month. May God continue to water the seeds that were sown. Also, pray for the release of the Healing Hands single tomorrow (11th) and that people who listen to the song will be touched by the music and message. May God continue to lead 3rd Wave as a force in the CCM genre that will have impact throughout Asia and around the world. If there are artists that 3rd Wave should partner with for future album projects, may God prepare the way and that 3rd Wave will be able to connect and build a long-term relationship with them. - Brian Kim: Thanksgiving for the time that Brian spent in the Philippines recently, ministering at the Feetworks Children's Camp and seeing how God was at work. Pray for Brian and his band as they will be leading worship at Kwanglim Church tonight (10th) at 7:30pm. May God continue to fill Brian with strength to do His work and that He will speak to Brian so that he will follow the purpose and promise that God has given him. Also, Brian is heading to Japan's Tokyo Yohan Church early December. Pray for God to prepare the way for him and move the hearts of those in Japan. - Onnuri English Ministry: Pray for the Nefarious Screenings today (10th) at the U.S. Army Base at 2:00pm and CEO Forum at 7:00pm. May the message of the documentary leave a significant impact on those who watch. Also, pray for an important meeting on Monday (14th) with a Presidential Adviser. May God be present during this meeting and grant Pastor Eddie favour with the Presidential Adviser. Also, pray for Pastor Eddie to have the wisdom and conviction to speak about the issues of freedom and justice. Thanksgiving for the opportunity that Pastor Eddie had to be part of the Not For Sale Global Forum in the U.S. and also the Not For Sale Asia Pacific Forum in Thailand recently. Important connections were made for the fight against human trafficking and slavery in terms of partnerships and worldwide prayer support. May God continue to use Pastor Eddie and OEM along with these global partners to further His mission. Hope for Orphans was also in Korea recently. Pray for God to stir the hearts of the Church in Korea to have the vision for adoption so that all the children will have a home. - Woonping: Pray for Woonping who is going on a mission trip from Nov. 19th-23rd. Pray that she will have the courage to share her own testimony with others. Also, pray for God to prepare the hearts of those who are part of the mission team and that they will have the confidence to speak and boldly proclaim the Good News. May God prepare the hearts of those who will be listening to their sharings as well. - Aungnie: Pray for those in Thailand. There has been flooding throughout the country. May God protect the people so that they can get through this crisis quickly and bravely.

Prayer items for August 10th, 2011: - Brian's RENT musical: Pray for practices to go well and that Brian will continue to develop a close relationship with fellow cast members. The musical will begin its showing on August 28 and Brian's first performance as Mark will be on August 30. Pray for Brian to be confident and not be nervous while performing. - Brian's health: With the long hours of practice every day, pray that God will renew Brian's strength daily so that he will be able to keep going. Pray that he will get restful sleep and eat well so that he can do his best for RENT. - 3rd Wave: Pray for the Nashville Music Conference (August 17-19) and One Voice Worship Concert (August 20) in Korea as renowned Nashville musicians who worked on the 3rd Wave album join together with CCM artists in Korea for these events. Pastor Johnny will be the opening speaker at the conference and also give a lecture on songwriting. Pray for wisdom in his sharing and that God will bless this time of worship as West joins East. - Brian Kim: Pray for Brian to be renewed as he goes about his packed worship event schedule. He has been doing many worship camps and without his road manager, he's been doing the driving as well. May God continue to replenish his energy as he reaches out to youths with the gospel and his worship songs. Also, pray for a safe trip and an amazing time of worship since Brian will be heading to New York as a guest for a retreat from August 16-22. - Onnuri English Ministry: Pastor Ha Yong Jo, who is the main pastor, has been recently taken home to the Lord. Pray for God to strengthen his family and friends as well as brothers and sisters at Onnuri during this difficult time. Thanksgiving for the showing of the Nefarious documentary on sex trafficking. May God continue to use this film to raise awareness of this issue and how we can work together to set the captives free. Also, pray for Pastor Eddie who is in Thailand right now with the OEM Thailand Mission Team as they serve the children and adults there. - Vicky: Pray for her school projects and upcoming violin exam on August 29. - Lisa (me): Pray for God to continue to speak to me regarding a vision for Asia that He has placed on my heart. Pray that He will guide me to the right people and also bring key people into my path as I continue to walk on in faith, praying and sharing this vision with other brothers and sisters. - UK (London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol, etc.): Pray for citizens' safety as they clean up the riot aftermath. A riot broke out on Monday over the controversy that a police shooting led to the death of 29-year-old Mark Duggan in north London last Thursday evening. This riot is apparently the worst one that has ever happened.

MPM4B stands for Monthly Prayer Minute for Brian. ^^ We pray for Brian, friends, fans, and more on the 10th of every month. I usually ask fans what you'd like to pray for for Brian and keep track of your prayer requests. Prayer items for July 10th, 2011: - Brian's travel safety: Brian will be heading back to Korea soon, maybe Monday, but not today (change of plans). Pray for a safe journey. - Brian's Shanghai Showcase: Brian will be meeting fans in China on July 23rd. The last time he went to China was around 3 years ago and this will be the first time that he is having an event as a solo artist under the name Brian instead of Fly to the Sky. Pray for everything to go well and that he will have a wonderful time with the fans, who are all highly anticipating this event. - Brian's RENT musical: Pray for rehearsals to go smoothly and that Brian will learn a lot from this experience. Pray that he will build great relationship with all the people involved in the musical and that his role will receive a lot of love from the audience. - Brian's future career: Pray that God will use the connections that he has made through his U.S. trip to further his career. Also, pray that Brian will place his dreams and goals in God's hands, knowing that He will always provide Brian with the best at the best timing. Thanksgiving that his tour went well and that he had time to relax with family and friends. - Brian's spiritual growth: Pray for Brian to continue to grow and be a light for Him through his relationships with others. May God bless him for his caring heart towards others in the industry, especially when it comes to looking out for his juniors and giving them his support. Also, pray for protection again spiritual attacks. May God strengthen Brian and continue to build him up through various life experiences as he grows in faith. - 3rd Wave: Pray for Pastor Johnny as he and a small team will be heading to Africa on July 24th. Besides travel safety, pray that it will be a blessed time of connecting with partners in Africa for His Kingdom. Also, pray for the preparations for the October Malaysia trip to go smoothly. In addition, pray for wisdom in the use of the 3rdWaveMinistry missions offerings. They currently plan to buy computers for Africa. - Brian Kim: Pray for him to stay focused because he has just released his 2nd worship album and starting soon for several months, it is going to be intense! Pray for things to go smoothly for his worship album showcase on July 14th. May God use this album to reach more people with the Gospel and His love. - Onnuri English Ministry: Thanksgiving for the recent meeting that Pastor Eddie had with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, which went very well. They have found a way for foreigners to adopt while living in Korea! Praise God! He has made a way, even though adoption agencies said there was no way! Also, thanksgiving for the time Pastor Eddie spent at OEM Joy Zone in Dogok (4th and 5th graders) during their DTS training. They are currently preparing to go to Thailand on a mission trip to Khaodee Orphanage. They are only 11 years old, but they will do their part! May God bless them and use each one of them powerfully for His glory to change this world! May God continue to give Pastor Eddie vision to lead His people to do amazing things for His Kingdom. - Dhianne: Pray for God to watch over and take care of all her friends. Also, pray for the health and career of her inspiration, BoA. - Raeha: Pray for her grandparents. Her grandmother's health is quickly deteriorating, looking very frail and more cancer tumours are getting bigger. It has been really difficult for the family to see her like this. Also, her grandfather is really stressed from this, having chest pains, thus making it difficult for him to breathe. It's very hard for him to watch his beloved wife fading away like this. - Lisa (me): Thanksgiving for a wonderful time in New York last month and having the opportunity to meet Brian and others. Pray that I will be able to maintain the relationships and connections that I have made through Brian's U.S. Club Tour in order to continue to build a strong support system for him, which would be beneficial to his future endeavours. - Japan: Keep praying for Japan. Recently, a friend shared with me that even though it has been 4 months after the major earthquake, there is still much confusion in some areas. A lot of people still live in evacuation centers. Also, the tsunami-hit regions may need 10 years for reconstruction. The atomic power accident caused a lot of damage as well; hence, the electricity shortage is especially serious. A season of hot summer has already begun and conserving electricity is a concern. The government and many companies are already working on ways to conserve electricity, which is an important challenge for all people. In addition, Japan has just been hit this morning by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake along the northeastern coast, resulting in a tsunami warning. Even though this earthquake registered 4 on the Japanese scale of 7, meaning it was felt as moderately strong, many buildings in the area are structurally weak and seawalls have been destroyed from the major quake back in March, thus making the region more vulnerable to relatively weaker quakes. MPM4B - 2011/06/10

MPM4B is our Monthly Prayer Minute For Brian, friends, and each other~ (But you can pray for longer than that. XD) Prayer items for June 10th, 2011: - Brian's Music Bank performance: Brian's performing on Music Bank today. This is his good-bye stage for "Unveiled" promotions. Let's pray for a smooth performance as this will be his last one before he heads off to the U.S. - Brian's health: With the hectic schedule that Brian has to go through to promote "Unveiled" and prepare for his upcoming tour, he's been getting sick and lacking rest. He's also been stressed lately. Please pray for his health, physically and mentally. May God heal him and give him peace. - Brian's U.S. Club Tour: Brian is leaving for the U.S. on June 14. Please pray for travel safety for him and his staff. Dates are: June 17 - Seattle, June 18 - San Francisco, June 24 - Los Angeles, June 25 - New York City. Pray that the tour will go smoothly and that Brian and fans will have a great time. Pray for effective communication between Brian's staff, promoters, and venue staff. Also, pray that Brian will be able to enjoy some time off with family and friends to replenish his energy and refresh his mind. - Brian's spiritual growth: Pray that Brian will continue to grow in his relationship with God and others. As he reads His Word and listens to sermons, may God speak to him and show him how to serve others to reflect His love. Pray that through his influence, Brian will be able to bear witness to God's goodness to those around him. - 3rd Wave: Alexander is part of the "Abba, I Honor You" Hong Kong praise concert on June 18. Pray for his travel safety and God will use him mightily at the concert. Also, pray for the 3rd Wave Summer Sale that is going on throughout this month that sales will do well and people will join in the movement to transform lives by making a difference in Africa. - Brian Kim: Pray for his 2nd worship album, which is in Korean this time. Release date is set for July 1. Pray that God will oversee the final production process and touch lives with these songs of praise. Also, pray that he will not be stressed about the album release and keep his eyes focused on God. He also has a showcase for the album on July 14, so please pray for preparations to go smoothly. - Onnuri English Ministry: Pray for F4 visa to be eligible for adoption in Korea like Korean citizens. Also, pray for a mega church in Korea to catch the vision of adoption. *Adoption is free in Korea if you're a Korean citizen. If families adopt, that means orphanages can potentially be all eliminated. - Belle: Pray for her and her family to find strength and comfort in the Lord. Her grandfather and uncle both passed away recently. - Nouha: Pray for her to be do well and be successful on her final exam - Angelise's neighbour: Mary had a heart attack last night and is currently at the hospital. Please pray for healing and recovery. - Vicky: Pray that she'll do well in level one and get into level two for college. - Kachina: Pray for healing for her back as she needs to visit a pain management clinic for treatment. She is immune to the numbing medication used, so she felt all the pain. - Lisa (me): Pray for my travel safety. I'll be away in New York during June 24-28. I haven't taken a vacation in a long time, so I hope this will be a time where I can just relax and enjoy my trip.
