"All the more reason to stay."
Luna was a little dove, and had been- as all of Morrigan's dancer's were -a priority among demigods. Even if she no longer looked after the Minx, she still paid special attention to her previous picks.
"Why not rest. Let me take care of you, mo stoirín ."
Morrigan's words are colored with a gentleness no one but a child could be treated to. The Great Queen is nothing if not a mother, and in the rare moments she holds a life to her chest she is as unthreatening as the brush of a feather. The strain and tiredness in Luna's eyes draws the goddess in, and she tenderly cups the girl's cheek, a barely there kiss falling into her hair. How easily she could pick the darling up and carry her to bed as if she were naught but a toddler.
"Sleep here, if only for a moment."
