For @mpxminah Aphrodite loved parties and, even though it was her first night back in Mount Phoenix for decades - maybe more - she wasn't about to pass over the chance to make a grand entrance. In her flashy, suggestive gown and with her unfalteringly alluring smile, it was obvious that she was drawing attention; such was the plan. Taking a seat at the bar, she carefully fixed the heavy drape of her skirt and her lighted tousled curls - a few of the more attractive citizens had caught her eye that night and she's blessed them with a dance, but had to force herself away before her charms got too much for them. It was only the first night, after all, and she had plenty of time to play later on. "A French Margarita, won't you, darling?" she ordered with a wave of her slender hand, "And feel free to go a little stronger."

“Will you go out with me?”

Ah, it sounds so awkward. Jungkook complains to himself. The day has finally come. He’s rehearsing to ask out Minah. The problem is that he’s never asked out a girl before. He would usually ask his friends for advice but that didn’t go too well. He gulps as he grows more anxious.

A part of him just wants to wing it and see how it goes. He even dressed up and bought a bouquet of flowers for this. Ugh. Okay, don’t be a loser Jungkook. You can do this. Maybe he shouldn’t do this today. He decides to be safe and picks up a box of chocolates to complement his bouquet.

Before he knows it, he’s in front of Minah’s door. Why is time going by so fast? His heart feels like it’s going to fall out of his chest any minute. The door opens. He panics.

“M-Minah noona…. It’s good to see you…” He tries to bounce back. “Remember when I said I needed to tell you something?” A smile washes over his face.

"I'm scared of being used again..."

    He’s breathless as he looks at her, cheeks flushed and lips full from kissing her. She is gorgeous and smart and so so vulnerable under that tough exterior that it almost makes him scared too. They had tested the waters of this before; first at the kissing booth, then in the coat check during the Gala. Each time they have gotten a little further than the last until they are where they are now. And he could do it- toss away the worries he has over this and act brave. It would certainly help her right now he’s sure.

   Hazel eyes search her face as he takes an inhale. There’s a time and a place... His face softens and he brings a hand up to touch her cheek. Maybe he’s not really ready like he wants to be. Dakota wants this- wants to be prepared should he ever do something like this for real- but not like this. Not when she might be scared.

   “I’m not like him,” he says softly before he sits up, coming to rest on his folded legs beneath him. “If we do this, it’s not to use you. It’s to share myself with you because I trust you.”

   He looks at her again, seeing her for what she is; braver than him. “We can wait Minah.”

Family Ties | Minah & Zeus

Another evening at the city of Mount Phoenix had fallen and the lightning god was looking for something or someplace rather where he could spend his evening. Having gone over a couple of options in his mind he eventually decided on heading back to Noona. After all last time the place had provided him with delicious food, on point service, wonderful background music and a great view. It were all very necessary things so one would be able to have a good time. So after suiting up in a dark blue suit, wearing a lighter color of blue as shirt underneath it, he decided on leaving the tie at home this time around and went on his way to the restaurant.

Once more being welcomed properly, he soon found himself seated down at a table which provided him with a good view on the stage where the musicians performed. Enjoying the performance of his son once more, Zeus leisurely sipped from his glass of wine. Savoring the taste of it he showed a smile of approval at the waiter when they questioned him if everything was to his wish. While having his delicious meal he engaged in a conversation with a beautiful woman, who was also seated alone, at the table next to him. Keeping up a rather amicable conversation with her throughout his meal, Zeus noticed the way she looked at him. Recognizing that look better than anything else in the whole world, he naturally responded to it. Openly flirting with her, the god of lightning was well on his way with talking her into his bed when suddenly his mind registered a female voice singing.

Turning his gaze away from the woman who was more than willing to spend a night in his bed, he looked at the stage instead. Finding it now to be occupied by a very beautiful young woman, he recognized her from his apartment complex. He had spotted her in the hallways a few times before and even though he’d never went to her he’d always wanted to. Perhaps tonight he could finally make her acquaintance. Taking in her appearance on stage Zeus only looked back at the woman at the other table when he was done with doing exactly that. Keeping up a conversation with the lady until the young woman on the stage was done with her performance, Zeus followed her to see where she’d go to. Seeing how she went over to the bar so she could have diner on her own, he decided then to try and make an acquaintance with her tonight.

It was only when the singer was almost done with her diner that Zeus stood up to go to her. Having told the very pleasant lady that they would surely pick up where they left off some other time, the god of lightning strode towards the bar. Halting at the girl’s right side, he moved his head a tad bit closer to her. “Excuse me?” he spoke to try and catch her attention. A friendly and somewhat seductive smile on his lips, “I’m sorry to bother you, but I’d like to compliment you on your performance tonight.”

   Dakota chuckles as he reads the texts from Minah, cheeks coloring just a bit. Sure he thought that someone might be wild enough for the challenge of skipping their skivvies. But to be told! And by the person themselves!

  He laughs and tosses his phone to the side next to him before he is back on his stomach again, controller in hand. He didn’t hate social events. They could be fun, but getting all dressed up? Nah.

kiss of  ‘ death ‘

Over the years the festival has flourished. New booths come and go, and the Morrigan celebrates each display or creativity and sportsmanship with equal amounts of pride and delight. The planning of the council only goes so far, because it is the liveliness of the children that culminates in what has become an annual occurrence the goddess looks forward to.

Word has gotten to the Celtic deity of a kissing booth, and the concept makes her chuckle, proceeds going to the hospital and all- leave it to Aphrodite's brood to profit off of their often underestimated skills.

Needless to say, she simply must go and have a look for herself.

The boy-child is not to her taste, and damn her if she were to ever lock lips with a male-god other than her consort, so that leaves only one option : the pretty little demigoddess.

All for charity and the continued efforts of those who seek to provide for others, the Morrigan waits her turn in line, idly eyeing her nails until she's up, and despite the guarded look of black sunglasses and wide billed hat, she offers a wide smile and her five dollars.

"Hello darling, I think my lipstick would compliment your skin tone well."

Tastes Like Family- ‘Kota/Minah/Eros

   So the kissing booth was an actual thing after all. Dakota had thought that Eros had been kidding when he had first told him that it was a supposed idea, but obviously he hadn’t been. Dakota spies it as he is scoping the park for a good place to set up his roaster and a grill, the long triple line giving it away almost instantly. Party. Dakota lets his tongue run over his own lips and makes his way over.

   It takes a bit of time but pretty soon Dakota finds himself close to the front of the line and he leans over to peer at the available kissers. He spots Eros instantly and clicks his tongue before whistling at him. The noise seems to distract the other briefly as Eros tilts his head just a bit more to see the source before he goes back to the person in front of him. Smirking at himself the lavender haired demi-god sees two others at the booth. The beautiful blonde he knows from the dance floor a few days ago and another equally stunning being. A lady! The same lady he had helped recently show up some two-bit nobody from off the island. He freezes, suddenly fully aware of the fact that he is standing in her line. Ah shit. He swallows nervously, paling a bit before he blows out an exhale. I got this- just a girl! Dakota had, in his short life, kissed many people, so it wasn’t a question of skill. For him it was the aftereffect of kissing females in particular that had him rubbing the back of his now slightly sweaty neck. As if on autopilot he extracts his wallet from his back pocket and withdraws the fee that he sees labeled on the board. It’s only when the money is being taken from his hand that he snaps out of it and sees that he is in front of the girl-woman- in question. Damn chica fine!
