That arm behind Doddles back. I see you Tanis. Also, I yapped about them a bunch on head canons day (plz go read if you haven't they're so important to me /nf) BUT UGHHHHH.

Ship name is Swiss Roll, bc of Tanis' hair and, yk, Doddle's baking.

Super empathetic guy x ray of sunshine guy please save me. Save me amazing ship dynamic. THEY'RE JUST!!! HAPPY!!!

Tanis is the only person Doddle can stand to have in the kitchen with him when he's baking, bc Tanis just instinctively knows how and when to stay out of the way.

Tanis also gets to be one of the main test subjects of Doddle's experiments, and gets leftover or unsatisfactory goods to use as offerings to spirits.

Also, fun fact, I drew these on 2 separate pieces of paper (bc I'm an idiot) and just,,, ibisPaintX extracted the line arts and edited them together 🙏 so here's those separately lmao

DAY 3: HEAD CANONS

Guys I love Mr Tanis sm, so---

He mainly deals with seances, but is trying to work up to reanimation. For now, he can do some smaller animals and more freshly deceased pets.

Because of the seances, hes one of the more well known lodgers of the society among the higher and middle class, since seances were quite a popular form of entertainment, tho ofc Tanis takes it seriously.

Hes very empathetic and in tune with the atmosphere and emotions around him bc of his connection to the after life and spirits, and while he's usually a very kind and happy guy, he tends to get quite emotionally drained.

So!!! He hangs out with *COUGH*DATES*COUGH* Mr Doddle :3 since Doddle is basically the sweetest guy at the Society, he really helps Tanis recharge his energy, physically and emotionally.

Doddle also gives Tanis little treats and such a bunch, both for him to eat himself and to use as offerings for the spirits.

The only time Doodle really ever gets annoyed is when people are in his space when he's baking/cooking, though he can usually tolerate it more with Tanis.

Tanis works quite closely with Maijabi bc of their somewhat similar lines of work, and they have a sort of father-son type of relationship, where Maijabi sometimes mentors Tanis.

Tanis x Doddle is real

Tanis's eyes tend to glow teal the slightest bit when he's doing his work.

Tanis helps tend to Zosi and keep him as put together and clean as possible.

Spirits seem to be drawn to Maijabi and Tanis, (as well as Doddle but he doesn't notice) because of their friendlier personas and safe energy

Tanis works a little bit with Ito as well, specifically for some potions when he's trying to reanimate

I think that's all I have rn :3 I'm,,, so normal guys. And I'll have more for ship and Tanis day, dw 😋 spreading my Doddle x Tanis (which I have deemed "Swiss Roll") propaganda 🙏🙏🙏

Enough talk, posting my ship 'Rock-Candy'

Kristal likes to act as hard as a rock (emphasis on act) but Doddle got them melting like taffy. (What a dynamic)

Also, I get to make candy and rock jokes so heeeeellll yeaaaahhh.
