MR. LAGOON: A PUDDLE OF SORROW
As heavy tears clash with the puddle's surface and dissolve into it, Mr. Lagoon is left sobbing piteously, all alone in his shallow little puddle. Flashes of his seventy thousand dollar debt assault his mind every time he tries to blink away the tears, leaving his eyes scorched and red. The man's complexion is wan with terror as the mounting realization that he had spent 70k on a grimy little puddle contorts his face into a grimace. As he thrashes and writhes in the water, he manages to choke out a tortured and torturous wail: "It's...It's not a puddle...It's a lagoon! IT'S A LAGOON, I TELL YOU! LAGOON! LAGOOOOOOOOOON!"
His soft weeping quickly turns to illegible screams as he rocks back and forth in his tear-tainted puddle, a symbol of his despair. Mr. Lagoon's throat is left sore and weak, yet he still relieves his internal torment onto the neighbors who are filing a noise complaint. The man frantically digs at his moistened scalp and rips out several patches of his hair. Cackling maniacally, his eyes burst out of his skull as he is sent into a manic episode.
In a moment of despair and desperation Mr. Lagoon hops into his excavator. Still teary eyed, He digs his two foot deep lagoon. The water is polluted with concrete powder, but he is determined to prove them wrong. To prove them all wrong. As the sunset begins to become apparent, Mr. Lagoon wipes his brow and hops over the side of the excavator, hyperventilating. He covers himself from the blazing red sun peeking over the horizon by backflipping into his now 64 meter deep lagoon. The mere two feet of water were pooled sadly at the bottom of the lagoon, now appearing as mere rainwater to any passerby unaware of Mr. Lagoon.
As he tumultuously tumbles through the cloud of ash and dust, Mr Lagoon's lungs pound frantically for fresh air. That was, until they'd permanently stopped pounding. In the original two feet, all the way at the bottom, Mr. Lagoon lays motionless, crimson pooling from his cranium. He had dug his own grave, and his own "lagoon" was the murderer.
