you mentioned a while ago that you had ideas for what the other kids' Headspaces could be like, would you mind sharing details? sorry if it's a lot, i just think Headspace content is super interesting
Fam, you just asked me a question with a 50 page answer.
What I can say, other ppl having Headspaces is 100% canon.
Mr. Outback says in game that Headspace is not a unique experience to Sunny. That other people can have Headspace, and its strange for Sunny to have a really big, cute one. Attributing it to his "big imagination". So its 100% possible that the other kids might have a Headspace, most likely Hero for a year.
One of the kids that's interested me is Kel.
I think Kel's world might be some variant of a medieval fantasy, where at the center of this world is the Pillow Fort.
But the Kingdom has been thrown into dark times at the death of Princess Mari and disappearance of Prince Sunny who has been locked away in a tower.
The Hero who usually saves the day is turned to stone.
Thus his latchkey thief of a little brother Kel has to step up in his place to unparalyze his brother and save everyone.
I've even gone as far as making concepts for his own Great Creatures. These imaginary friends operate on a similar, parallel system to Headspace and everyone has an Oldest, Wisest and Favorite. Kels would be:
King Hooper is the Wise Old King
Hooper is a powerful wizard that rules the realm of Headspace with the Basketball knights, on the claim that he's been around the longest. He rules from his court in the Pillow Fort. He's physically frail but has limitless stamina to make up for it.
The King likes Kel, but has little faith in him, and thinks Kel should just wait for the Hero to return and solve everyone's problems. He thinks anything Kel does would just make things worse, so he cooks up smaller quests as distractions for Kel to do in the meantime, to prepare for the Hero's return.
He is based on Kel's basketball hoop.
Sly Orange Fox is the Sage
The Fox is trying to guide Kel away from his distractions and back to confronting his problems. He is only seen in glimpses, similar to SOMTHING in the real game.
Kel may love dogs, but this Fox was introduced to him by Prince Sunny, who is actually more of a cat person.
She is based on Kel's shirt in game.
Hector is the Mentor
Hector is a powerful martial artist who trains Kel from his dojo hideout and aids him in his quests. He is identical to Pluto, but is never referred to as such in Kel's dream world.
Kel looks up to Hector like a big brother.
He is based on Kel's digital pet rock.
