Unposted pokemon beam # THREE
Trans flag colour picked from Moemon sprites
It's been a while since I've posted something fresh, rather than just reblogging (depression can be hard at times). However, I think April Fool's is just a fun day to post on, so I've pulled myself out of the depression mire for a bit in order to present...

Been Thinking About Leon's Pokémon Team's Interactions With Baby Hop..
Because they absolutely had to have known Hop since he was a baby. Because of this all of them have a soft spot for him and all of them have spent their own time bonding and playing with him that means a lot to all of them.
Charizard: Charizard takes the job of looking over Hop very seriously. It's Leon's trusted ace, typically out of the Pokéball the most, and it took less than a second for him to see how much Leon adores his little brother. So of course Charizard decides "Welp time to protect this little fella with my life".
Charizard keeps a sharp eye on Hop and learns pretty quickly the kid gets himself into trouble so easily. So a lot like his big brother, though thankfully he has a better sense of direction.
It also learns Hop loves warmth and likes to cuddle against Chairzard since the fire type constantly gives off a soothing heat. It doesn't mind and finds it cute, but constantly makes sure it's flame is nowhere near Hop so he doesn't accidentally get burned.
It's given Hop plenty of Charizard rides of course, and it makes the fire type feel pretty happy himself to hear Leon and Hop laughing gleefully as they fly through the sky and does tricks to entertain them.
Since Charizard's essentially the leader if it thinks the other Pokémon are acting too rowdy it kindly tells them to "Knock it off" because Hop's a fragile little thing and if anything happened to him it would shatter Leon's heart.
Dragapult: Being a parent already, it's easy to say Dragapult adopted Hop as one of it's babies. Like instantly. It saw Hop and went "Mine now" and kept the baby wrapped around it's tail. Leon thought it was adorable, until he wanted to hold his brother and Dragapult wouldn't let him.
Dragapult takes parenting seriously, so it typically hovers around Hop, gently guiding him away from any ways of tripping or getting lost. It also just likes to cuddle too, so does Hop so it'll typically wrap itself around him comfortably as the boy get's sleepy so they can snuggle together.
Dragapult had seen once little Hop look sad when Leon had to be pulled away for a business call from the Chairman (Dragapult never really liked the Chairman but it can't argue with it's trainer...)
Dragapult knows how much it's little Dreepy love to be thrown around at rapid speed... so it picked Hop up with it's tail, spun him in the air and sent him flying to cheer him up!
(Yes, Dragapult yeeted the baby)
Hop's reaction was just what it was looking for. He squealed with delight and looked so much happier!
The horrified high pitched shriek that ripped out of Leon's throat though was not something Dragapult had expected. Nor the river of tears spilling down from its trainer's face when Charizard leapt out and caught Hop before he hit the ground.
Leon had scolded it and told it to never, ever, ever throw Hop like that ever again. Hearing and heartbroken relieved sobs and seeing it's trainer clutch Hop like a life line made it far too easy for Dragapult to agree. It still feels guilty about that to this day even though Leon's of course forgiven it. It's a lot more careful with Hop after that.
It's Dreepy's have also declared Hop as one of their siblings and with typically snuggled with him whenever they can. That or float around playing chase with him.
Mr. Rime: Mr. Rime would always dance to cheer Leon up when stress gets to bad for him and it happily does so for Hop too.
Except it doesn't just dance for Hop, it pulls little Hop's feet on its shoes so they both are doing a little tap dance together. It makes sure to move carefully not to jostle him too much and the action always makes Hop squeal with joy and laughter. When Leon walks in the sight is so adorable and he feels so light with joy and love that he jumps right in and does the best he can to follow Mr Rimes tap dance. He usually falls over, which only makes the brothers laugh harder.
Aegislash: Being a ghost type and being something rather... well dangerous considering it's a floating sword and shield, Aegislash has always been verrrrrry careful with Hop.
It makes sure the little one doesn't get too close to hurt himself against it's sharp steel, but it also does allow Hop to touch and play with the fabric scarf of it's hands and arms. It's a velvety feel, smooth and soft and it becomes quickly apparent Hop adores soft things. So Aegislash will always go to grab soft blankets to wrap itself in to help especially make sure it Hop wants to be near it he doesn't get hurt.
It get's baby Hop cuddles from the trouble, so the Pokémon finds it absolutely worth it. Sometimes it also likes to use it's fingers to give Hop tickles if he's upset and it brightens its day to hear him laugh. Even mores so that it was the one to do it.
Haxorus: Loves to give Hop little rides on it's back and tail. It's the rides the boy can have when Leon isn't there supervising because as much as Leon loves Chaizard, he doesn't want his tiny baby brother way up in the sky without him to catch him.
Haxorus also likes to use it's back as a slide for Hop to go down on. It's knows it's armor is a little spiked, but it manages to shift it around enough so the bo doesn't hurt himself. Hop can spend hours being entertained sliding and Haxorus doesn't mind. It really loves Hop's laugh, plus the gentle pressure feels nice on it's back after a long day of battles. So Hop is helping it too!
Seismitoad: Poor thing knows for a fact Hop touching it would not be ideal. It's rather strong and it's doesn't trust it's own strength to not accidentally knock to poor boy over if he wanted to crawl on it and play. If he got hurt it'd be just as upset as Leon.
It knows how to control it's ground type moves and attacks well though, so one thing it likes to do is shift the land around where they're all so it becomes Hop's own little playground. Always complete with a mudslide into a mud pool. Hop adores it and it isn't long before Leon jumps right in and enjoys the little playground with his brother and the rest of the Pokémon. Seismitoad is happy to watch in it's comfortable patch under the shade, and it smiles even more as Hop always comes over to bring an umbrella to lay close to it to make sure it stays cool under the hot sun.
Rhyperior: Honestly Hop can't really play with Rhypherior. It's stony body is hard and unlike the others it can't really change that. Not to mention it's drill on its face, so like Seismitoad it plays with Hop at a distance.
It does work to help the playground that Seismitoad creates and does help make sure to fix the land back before they go. Still it does it's best to look over Hop and makes sure he doesn't do something where he can hurt himself.
Baby Hop noticed how Rhyperior likes the feeling of mud on it's stoney body. It helps cool it off and takes away some of the roughness. So with a bucket he'll walk over and just gently pour some on the Pokémon. He can only really get to it's foot, but the sweet gesture is appreciated.
The whole team adores Hop, and it amazes them to see him grow older and become his own person. Though like Leon, they still see the little baby that they helped watched over and raise when they were around so it's hard for them at times to see him other than that. They know he's a good trainer though. Even then that doesn't stop them all from being fiercely protective over him either. From the proud look on their trainer's face when he sees how they treat his brother they know they're certainly right doing so.
