It's not that I don't agree with the point in itself because being LGBTQ+ in sports, football specifically, is basically unheard of - especially in Mens Football

Being an avid football fan (red devils if you were wondering 💪), I understand the stigma behind players being afraid to come out due to the backlash (from the media and fans) it will create to not only the clubs they play for but for their teammates and their families: Dillon's father's fears are reasonable but he's doing the wrong thing but pressuring Dillon into faking it - just when Dillon himself has just come to terms with it himself, mind you

Telling him his career would end before its even started if he let everyone know about his sexuality is terrible! What kind of father would tell their kids that their only choice is to not be themselves and have a great and successful career or be out and proud but jobless! * breathe * Mr Simmonds is a right tosser there and him demotivating Dillon is immoral and cowardly 😑
