have y'all ever notice that there has to be an episode of horrid henry where the characters have identity issues or them wanting to try something different from what they're labeled as and it usually ends good or bad or ok to just sad??

because i sure as hell have!

for example you have

perfect peters horrid day he just decides to be horrid to get any attention from his parents because he thinks they pay more attention to henry then him which is uh....a little weird considering it's the opposite of course henry finds out is almost kind of impressed by the slugs but unfortunately gets in trouble for peters horrid prank and well peter is just im just glad to be perfect only for henry to stick a slug out and peter slips shouting IT'S NOT FAIR HENRY!! with henry laughing going "YEAH IT'S HORRID"

then you have when im king and horrid henry gets married in series 2 which henry dreams of his own downfall (which still concerns me tbh) in one and almost marrys moody margaret in another

then you have horrid henry rocking the world in which ralph is uh worried that he doesn't have a thing which is a bit concerning?? like i know it ends with him playing air guitar but like ralph you have an ACTUAL guitar my dude

and then you have whos who in series 4 in which henry has a straight up identity crises and cries for thirty seconds only to be aok in the next scene well actually he's somewhat aok he's just "PETER PERFECT PETER and im henry horrid henry!"

then you have how to be horrid when margaret is insecure about herself and henry is just ok you wanna be horrid i'll teach ya though a musical number!

then you have detention diva which peter worries he might be the bad guy and well margaret and unintentionally brian basically tell henry that if peter goes though with the eight hour detention no one would be interested in him and henry mcfuckin PANICS and outright steals peters detention because henry belonged there peter didn't which uh CONCERNING?? i get henry did it for selfish reasons but c'mon

of course when sid asked if it was meant to be him henry cheerfully replies with "it's always meant to be me mr soggington!!"

and it ends on a joke with them both shouting NOOOO!!

Short little rant, but I just finished watching Horrid Henry’s Most Horrid Day Ever and …

I HATED it ! It was an interesting and great episode concept, but the way they made Soggy Sid desperately want Henry, a CHILD, behind bars was SO OUT OF CHARACTER !!!

Sid dislikes Horrid Henry, but if he ever thought Henry was up to actual criminalising trouble, he wouldn’t want that fate for Henry ! He’d be concerned, and while he’d definitely interrogate Henry he wouldn’t NOT wish for Henry to be thrown in jail ! Sid would NEVER want to actually wish that upon a child, not even Henry.

I don’t watch the episodes in order, but this is definitely a sign not to watch season 5. That’s not Soggy Sid at all, that’s an imposter !
