Annie (2014) is one of my comfort movies. I put it on the other day, and just why do people hate this movie??? I love it so much!!! There’s so much great comedy (them making fun of Twilight never gets old), Mr. Stacks slowly letting down his walls for Annie is always so cute, and even though the relationship with Grace and Mr. Stacks was kinda shoehorned into the movie, they still had so much chemistry! The awkward flirting that Annie kept picking up on was so funny and so cute!
From a critical perspective, no, it is not the best movie that was ever made. But it always gives me such a warm, fuzzy feeling in my chest, and for 2 hours, I forget what I was worried about before.
I love this movie so much!!!!
