After seeing Nick Mohammed live, and meeting him after, I still very much adore the man, and still have a massive crush on him.
Naturally talked Taskmaster with him and told him he's one of my favourite contestants.
how is it that nick mohammed pops up in everything i watch? first cuckoo, then taskmaster, ted lasso and now fucking last one laughing?! i mean, i love the guy and he's a joy to behold, but i honestly feel a little targeted.
So @icedsodapop and I were DMing about Nick Mohammed, and the amazing multitalented performer that he is, and I said what I really wanted in the inevitable singing episode in season 3 was to see Nathan get to sing.
She asked me which song I thought would work for him, and I said Mr. Cellophane from Chicago. But actually that's the song he should have been allowed to sing in the karaoke episode in season 1 - MISSED OPPORTUNITY, Sudeikis. In season 3 though, I want him to belt out one of those I Want Disney songs. Maybe 'I just can't wait to be king'.
ANyway, here's him playing the character of Mr Swallow, doing Eponine from Les Mis, and I just want everyone to appreciate how he keeping flipping back and forth and back from ridiculous slapstick comedy to genuine moving tragedy. This is what Ted Lasso the show wants to be when it grows up.
