Random thing I thought of for AU

(I imagine Child BF didn't have an ACTUAL adult to care about him before the cartiadge. And I mean genuinely care about if he was safe.)

[ Child BF walking around and chasing a butterfly ]

Child BF: *Beep!*

[ IHY Mario notices Child BF getting close to a edge ]

Child BF: *Beep!!*

[ Child BF goes to reach for the butterfly which is going over the edge but IHY Mario grabs him before he falls over ]

Child BF: !!

IHY Mario: That was WAY too close...

Child BF: ...

IHY Mario: Let's get you out of-a-here before MX manages to hurt one of-a-us..

Child BF/Chord: ...beep?...

[ IHY Mario walks away holding Child BF ]

Lucus: Hm?

[ Lucus puts his head up to see BF's mother walking towards them. Really quick . ]

[ Child BF turns around and his face just.. drops . Almost confusion and fear. ]

Child BF/Chord: *Beep...*

Lucus: ?

BF's Mother: Come on!

[ BF's mother tries to grab Child BF's arm but he moves out of the way and Lucus gets up from the ground, getting in between Chord and His Mother. ]

Lucus: Hey! Leave him alone!

BF's Mother: You have no involvement in this Child.

Child BF/Chord: .. *beep...*

BF's Mother: BF. Now.

[ Child BF/Chord nods no ]

Child BF/Chord: *B-bep- Bep-bep-*

Lucus: He doesn't want to Go! Now leave us alone!

[ BF's Mother grabs BF by his hair ]

Child BF/Chord: *BEEEP!!!!!!*

Lucus: HEY!!! STOP, YOU'RE HURTING HIM!!!-

[ Lucus tries to grab Child BF/Chord but BF's Mother slightly pushes Lucus ]

Lucus: OW-

[ BF'S Mother picks up Child BF/Chord by his hair and runs off while Lucus can hear MX coming closer. ]

Lucus: CHORD!!!!-

[ MX picks up Lucus while looking confused as fuck ]

MX: What are you yelling about-

MX: ... Most importantly, Where's Chord?

Lucus: [ Panicking noises ]

Lucus: I- DON'T KNOW!!! SOME WOMAN CAME UP TO HIM AND I TOLD HER TO LEAVE US ALONE!!- CHORD DIDN'T WANT TO GO BUT SHE JUST GRABBED HIS HAIR!- HE LOOKED SO SCARED WHEN SHE GRABBED HIM MX!!- HE DIDN'T WANT TO GO BUT SHE GRABBED HIM ANYWAY!!!- AND BY HIS HAIR TOO!!

MX: Kid slow down- You look like you're about to cry-

Lucus: BECAUSE I AM!!! I JUST WATCHED SOMEONE LIKE ME- MY BEST FRIEND JUST GOT KIDNAPPED IN FRONT OF ME AND I COULDN'T EVEN SAVE HIM!!!-

MX: ...

MX: Mr. L is going to fucking kill meee.. Look..

MX: Ya know which direction she went?

Lucus: T-Towards Uh... The Forest! I think???

MX: Great. I'm having you stay with someone while I go get a search party.
