Crocodile and Mihawk having a weird curse (blessing???) where all the crocodilian and avian pokemon spawn in their immediate vicinity. They don’t know who this “Niantic” is or what they want, but they’re sure they know they’re there and are making a joke of them.
They’re lucky the twins enjoy their little crocodilian and avian toon monsters or they’d be pulling threads and calling in favors…
Niantic programmers upon realizing that most pirates are named after animals:
At least Crocodile and Mihawk get the cute crocodilians and birds. Buggy is significantly less happy with who keeps crowding around him like a stack of animated dodgeballs in a clown wig
At least his little tap-dancing friends are kind of endearing. Especially the one with the red nose.
