My neurologist ordered a barrage of MRI scans to be done since my migraines only seem to be getting worse & my last scan was 8 years ago. Last Friday I went & had the MRI & MRA scan done; tonight I get to have the MRV with contrast done. I'm exciting, I know.
I got my results for the MRI/MRA back today & everything is normal (organically speaking; I don't even entertain the notion that I myself am 'normal') But the only issue, which apparently isn't that much of an issue at this particular moment (at least to my neurologist) is that I have little white lesions on my brain or, in medical speak: Fazekas grade 1 chronic ischemic change.
In other words, I've got areas of dead brain tissue....
