Alyx took a shaky breath. She still couldn’t believe she was about to do this, but here she was, standing outside the Salvatore Boarding House. Knocking quietly, she only had to wait a few seconds before the door was flung open. And there he was: dark hair messy and icy blue eyes alight with curiousity.
“Hey, Damon. Mind if I come in? I gotta talk to you.” Nervousness making her accent come out, she cringed a bit. But instead of the usual snarky comment, he just nodded simply and stepped aside. Alyx walked right into the living room, making a bee-line for the alcohol table. She felt his presence right behind her. As she reached out for the canter of bourbon, Damon snatched her hand away. Without letting her to, he turned her around.
“Alyx, why are you here?” Although his voice was calm, she could tell be was a bit peeved that she was there at two in the morning.
“I- just- well…” She let her eyes settle on the floor. “I needed to talk to you….” Sighing once more, Alyx ripped her wrist away from him and crossed her arms in front of her. Aqua hues met icy blue counterparts. “I don’t expect you to say anything. In fact, it’s probably better if you don’t….yeah. Anyway, I’m sure you have an inkling what this is about. The truth is…I like you, Damon. More than I should, I guess. I shouldn’t like you at all because you’re my teacher…nothing more. I know you don’t feel the same. But I had to tell you…” Trailing off, she looked at the ground again and turned around. “I’ll see myself out.”
