Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Burned | Solo
Jayden Croft was out of reach. That much Josephine had to admit but to give up was still no option. He was guarded pretty much 24/7, walking around with that smug grin of his while he seemingly believed that no one could get to him. He should have known better than that though, especially after Josephine had paid him a visit when he was already hospitalized. He wasn't untouchable and she would prove that point one way or another.
It had taken her weeks to figure out just what she had to do in order to avenge Isobel once it had become clear that harming him physically was out of question. Unless he would come to her and therefore be close enough for her to strike ... That thought alone brought her to where she was standing right now. Josephine huffed as she looked at the shiny black 4WD –Jayden’s pride and joy– crowbar in hand and ready to cause as much damage as possible. The paint was unblemished, the interior just as flawless and as Josephine peeked inside the car she could imagine the smell of leather to welcome anyone who got into the vehicle. Apparently, the House paid well enough to afford such luxury but somehow Josie knew that despite being able to buy himself a new car without much trouble he would be pissed if his favorite toy had to endure a similar treatment as Isobel had to go through.
She pondered her next move as she watched the car, head tilted to the side and the bar propped onto her shoulder. The coating was far too shiny and could use a few nice scratches, the brunette decided, scraping the metal along the paint as it clawed into it and left its marks, very much to her satisfaction. She then hauled off, smashing the windows one by one until piles of glass covered the ground, grinding beneath her boots as she stepped onto them in order to approach the vehicle. Her next step was a tribute to Isobel and her fondness of arson. The brunette smirked, heading for the trunk of the car before forcefully opening it and finding just what she was looking for. She reached for the can of gasoline, unscrewing the cap before making her way back to the side of the car in order to cover the insides of it with the easily flammable liquid. Finally, she pulled out a box of cigarettes and a lighter out of her pocket, making sure to get enough distance between her and Jayden’s beloved property before lightening the smoke and taking a few drags only to throw it into the car after a moment.
And what a beautiful scene suddenly played out in front of her. She licked her lips, feeling the heat of the flames tickle her face as she found herself unable to take her eyes off the burning car. "Seems like someone has to walk home today.“ she said to herself with a smirk on her lips before withdrawing from the crime scene, safely securing her lighter as she slid it back into her pocket and walked out of the parking garage.
