As much as I have a love/hate relationship with being mushy, I am so happy that I have some of the friends I have and the people I know I can talk to. I’m just bloody happy that you guys exist. That’s all.

Dear English Major Humor, You answered a question a while back concerning the pronuniation of the word 'the.' I was recently approached by my uncle, who mentioned that he was told that there existed a word which was defined as the way the word 'the' was pronounced. Do you know/have you heard of such a word? If not, could you direct me to some places where I might find out?
I think you’re referring to a YUNiversity post I reblogged. I hope that’s what you’re referring to, because that’s all I’ve got!
As for the rest of your query, I’m not sure if I understand what you’re trying to ask. I think you’re trying to say that there’s a word whose definition is “how ‘the’ is pronounced or said." I’m not aware of any resources that allow you to search a word by definition, but OED might be one of them. If not, or if you aren’t affiliated with a college that has access to it, I would try asking a reference librarian at your local public or university library.
