Do you think Shane’s loyalty to the Metro’s in snapping birch wouldn’t be as severe if it’s wasn’t Yuna’s ride or die team? I mean to say, if he had been drafted to a west coast team and things played out the same way, would he be as desperate to stay or is he playing discrimination lawsuit chicken with any team out there to make himself untouchable (before his body crashes out)?

Also I understand that any character who exhibits traits of toxic masculinity is headcanoned as transmasc by the fandom but I think the TADC fandom is severely underselling just how clearly Jax is being written as a closeted trans woman
