gotta say, I’m liking the rest of this show, but I’m real unconvinced by Jessica/Luke. Like, her internal issues with it are fine and dandy and make sense and whatever, yes, creepin’ is creepy, angst, woe, etc. 

But this romantic tension the show wants me to buy into is... just not working for me. They had some of the most generic banter in the show so far, slept together a half dozen times (right? it seemed like only that), and then woo angst yeah probably a bad plan to not fess up. idk, maybe this subplot about the missing kid case will give actual substance to the interactions, but still, all her friendships and business relationships seem real, and the thing with Luke just does not. Then regardless, I really don’t see why he couldn’t’ve been a friend. Maybe then the show could’ve used the gratuitous sex screentime on actual conversation instead.
