I got referred in April to Nottingham GIC and got told there was a 6-8month waiting list. I called the GIC because I still haven't received one and asked why and the receptionist told me that the waiting list was longer now. I asked if she could check to see where abouts I was on the waiting list and she told me that it was longer now (exactly the same way as before). Do you know how long I will be waiting now?
They are currently stating a waiting list of 12-18 months for new referrals, but it should be less for you as you were added to the waiting list some time ago. As a rough estimate, I would expect to be waiting around 12 months, but it may be a little more or less than this. Hopefully you should hear something soon, and there’s no harm in phoning up again - you may get a different receptionist or they may have more information now.
Any followers who were referred around a similar time, who have more information?
