I doodle. When I am stuck, I doodle. It all started as a child when I attempted to write Farsi. It became my secret code I didn’t understand but created meaning for. A Tolkien elven language - which great wizard or dragon forged Farsi, I imagined. Farsi danced on the page the way I wanted to dance on the page. My doodles also represent my writers block, my anger, my physical representation of biting my lip (minus the blood), and when I try to draw my dreams. I used to think my doodles represented a waste of time. Symbols of shame for not staying on task or being ADD. A few years ago I started to make art, design murals of my doodles. Construct even a comic book mythology. Now my doodles represent goin off the beaten path guilt free - one of the toughest patterns for me to break. Did you go off schedule? Go where your doodle mind takes you. Guilt free. #40daysofSelf #doodle #nourishmentnotjustfood #playtivist #mrfun #offthebeatenpath (at The Irish Times Pub & Restaurant) https://www.instagram.com/p/BnsIEifhKqd/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1oxquhi4g9qb6
