So yeah... The gig was sickkk
Got into London early like... And walked around some shops and got cheap-ass Chinese buffet which was awesome!
We got the Borderline at like 8 and the security woman was such a bitch and asked my girlfriend for ID despite her not needing any... because we were just coming into the gig and like it wasn't over-18s or some shite. She was unnecessarily rude and searched bags and shiv... which was odd... because I mean... It was a tiny club. So yeah, we got downstairs eventually and first up were some band called Wet Nuns. They were absolutely awesome! The had a weird set-up, like there was only two of them, a guitarist and a drummer, and the drummer didn't have a hi-hat! However they sounded absolutely awesome, they were like bluesy-punky-stonery mish-mash of a band. The guitarist and drummer both did vocals and they sort of sounded a bit like early Queens of the Stone Age but with more guitar noise! I thought they were brilliant and I strongly recommend everyone check 'em out. They were pretty funny 'n' all.... Next up were a band called Eagulls who fucking shite. They just sounded rubbish and the singer sounded wank and he was completely shitfaced and just sort of moaned into the mic whist looking like a mong.... he kinda of looked like the singer from The Drums mixed with the one from The Story So Far. However... he was just shite and all te band looked like they had been let down by him and he like picked up a mic stand and sort of put it on a photographer dude. The bassist looked so fucking pissed at him and started swearing a him on the stage... So yeah, they sucked. Then it was Pulled Apart By Horses! They sounded brilliant and their set was really goood! They started with I Punched a Lion in The Throat and it all went better from there. The power kept cutting out though which kind of sucked. But apart from that it was brilliant! :D Mrpointyhead from xbox live was there too... which was nice because I said hello and it was just odd seeing him there :D Pulled's best song was easily Meat Balloon because I loveeeeeeeeee it :D
