The actress who played Ha-ra’s mom really acted her entire ass off during the scene where she finds out her daughter died. It was just incredibly raw and heartbreaking when she collapsed to the floor and begged Ha-ra to take her with her because she doesn’t want to be alive if her only child isn’t. Like it reminded me of Debbie Reynolds/Carrie Fisher and of my childhood friend’s grandma when her husband passed away and the wailing she did days later.
