The season ended a little sooner than we all would have have liked, but at least we ended with a series win over our big rivals—it was a fun day to be a Ranger! ⚾️ ⚾️ ⚾️ Every year I hug the seniors after the last game and think, “I’m not going to cry like this next year because I’ll get used to saying goodbye,” but there I always am, crying again. Ranger Baseball 2020. Still wrestling with a lot of feelings about how this season came to an end and how we had to say goodbye to some of our seniors. Although, the NCAA has granted waivers to Spring sport athletes, we know the seniors won’t all come back. Some of them already have incredible opportunities lined up for the future, and another year of baseball just isn’t in the cards. This ending feels so unfair. I have cried about it. A lot. But if there’s one thing this has reminded me, it is how thankful I am to have these guys in my life. The Ranger Baseball players and coaches are pretty much my world, and I’m so thankful that let me tag along.
