It’s been a great week and even better weekend.
Random selfies.
Day 15: Thankful for spa pedicures and over-the-knee socks. I love baths so much I had just stocked up on bath bombs before my surgery. A pedicure was the closest thing I could get and it was worth the million $. Massage chair, aromatherapy heated neck pillow, and an hour long leg and foot massage followed by some deep dark purple gel polish for these pale winter toes.
Keep your chin up!
Some like it hot
Day 16: (hot baths to hot showers) I moved to this country at a young age. When I went back to Chiclayo, Peru to visit my grandparents they told me sometimes the city turns off the hot water for no reason. Even though it was warm there it was still so uncomfortable to take cold showers. That’s how spoiled I am and I recognize that. I’m fortunate to have grown up with endless hot water. Water that doesn’t have to be boiled before you drink it. Where people can leave their purses in shopping carts and wear nice jewelry in public. Every time I’ve gone back to Peru I’ve been with someone who got robbed and they were local citizens. I could go on, Peru is amazing but I’m grateful my parents moved us to the States. Love hot showers.
My husband is the most handsome.
