What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?
Uh oh.
Mr. Warrior is 11 days, and I'm terribly behind. I've barely started choreographing, but I am confident in my ability to freestyle in areas that lack in choreography. However, I have a much bigger issue to address and that is my left knee.
Basically, I did a basic evaluation of my knee yesterday and there is a chance that I lack the necessary amount of synovial fluid in my knee which is what keeps the constant grind of your knees an efficient process. Since I have been training so much off late, I have hurt my knee to the extent to where I cut the ability for this fluid to flow off, and now the area if very painful and even non-athletic things are difficult at times.
I'm not sure what to think. Right now, I feel mentally defeated. I've wanted to compete and win Mr. Warrior since I was a freshmen, but all of a sudden that opportunity might slip away from me.
Still, I'm optimistic that I'll be able to somehow push through the pain and pull off an amazing performance on January 30th.
