John-Paul rarely made an appearance this high up in the Wexley's floors, but he'd never really had a reason to. Not since his grandparents passed and the ownership of their apartment fell into limbo. He had been ten then. Much younger and much less aware of what had been happening. He'd just expected to keep living in their home as they always had. Same as now. Except Jeremiah had requested an upgrade - which was easily granted now that over half the residents were either missing or dead. An upgrade that the two had dreamed about their entire lives. But now that they had it, JP wasn't so sure it was what he wanted anymore.
He raised his hand and momentarily debated just giving up and going back. No one knew what he was up to. No harm. No foul. He could just head back to the Rose's new living quarters and pretend he was happy to finally be in the big leagues. But his apprehension gnawing at him would only eat him alive and makes things worse for all of them. He had to do this.
Three solid knocks landed on Tobias' door, unsure if he even heard it through the size of the penthouse as he waited.
