Eloping with Liz. When he proposed they had been on a short weekend getaway and she'd hadn't wanted to wait. It had been on the tail end of his military career and she'd been worried they'd ship him off one last time before releasing him to wild. But married couples don't get separated. Oscar managed to slow her roll and argued that they should do things the "right way" with a real wedding. Had he known their big day would never come to fruition he would have gone straight to the nearest courthouse and wifed her up on the spot.

Fane. Petronella truly loved him. He was the only one when she was younger that accepted her for who she was and managed to quiet her darkness. Aside from Knox, she'd always believed there wouldn't ever be anyone able to elicit such good feelings. He was patient and kind and compassionate and even Noodles liked him. He was everything to her until he wasn't and losing him was the worst experience she's ever had. It's also the reason her heart is so deeply guarded, never wanting to feel that greif ever again.

She wrote one to each of her parents after their deaths. They contianed everything shed ever wanted to say but couldn't. Unopened, unread, and tucked safely beside them in their coffins.

Oscar: He has a few memories he holds dear that run through his mind when he's alone and not worried about more pressing issues in life. Emily coming home from the hospital is one of them. The look on Liz's face when he proposed is another. A third was his parent's twentieth anniversary - the two never looked any less in love the entirety of their marriage despite its ups and downs.

Petronella: The good bits of Fane and the day the Lovelace siblings left the compound. It was the most free she's ever felt.

Ethan: Depending on what was going on, he might join in. And, sucks for the victim, but he would also never snitch.

Emily: Yes. One hundred percent. She will do whatever it takes to keep her loved ones safe. No matter what.

Petronella: Secretly, a ton, but you'd have your hands full getting her to admit that - mostly because it's a behavior leftover from her days under Auron's leadership in the Oasis. Pubically, she rarely second guesses herself, letting her wiles run free.

John-Paul: He doesn't really have all that much to sacrifice so he would give up damn near anything. When the ambition is there of course. In the past, his goals were pretty simplistic - get high and get rich - willing to do whatever and sacrifice his very should if need be to obtain both. The only thing he will give a hard pass to sacrificing is his family. It's the one line he is unwilling to cross.

Madison: She is realistically competitive. If she is on her way to acheiving a goal with other equally footed contenders, then she will push a bitch out the way to get to the top. I mean how else would she be able to survive among the acting crowd? But she isn't naive enough to think that there isn't anyone out there better than her and will freely accept defeat before wasting her time and energy trying to change the inevitable.

Unless it's Maddox of course. Then she wants to win every time.

small things for JP and Charlie

• John-Paul could always tell when Charlie was feeling down, even when she tried to convince him otherwise. So after whatever errands or work he did for Sada that day or ubers he picked up, he would make sure to bring home something to cheer her up. A coffee or pastry from her favorite bakery and cafe. Chips, popcorn, and red box rentals for movie nights. (She's All That more often than not because it was a win for both of them - Freddie Prinze Jr. one of his first celebrity crushes). Sunflowers from the florist stand up the road. Anything he could think of to cheer her up.

• When Charlie came home after her first kiss she had been so happy. But it had been short lived, coming home a few days later with the information that it had all be a facade. A prank. Her heart had been broken and John-Paul had been furious. He took it upon himself to make a visit to his old stomping grounds - although expelled after only a few months at the school - under the guise of saying hello to one of the only teachers who actually seemed to care how he turned out. In reality he was there to find the culprit for hurting Charlie. It hadn't been hard, his good looks easily buttering up a few little ladies to give up everything about the guy - who he serendipitously ran into on his way to his lunch hour. The beating he received kept him out of school for six weeks and made him think twice about fucking with someone's sister ever again.

• The first birthday Charlie had after their grandparents were both gone John-Paul made her birthday cake like their grandmother used to. Attempted to anyway. Hagrid's cake to Harry had been decorated better than what JP managed to serve up. Lopsided and ugly as it was, it didn't taste half bad, but the kitchen was like an explosion hit it - damn near every dish dirtied in the baking process.

Have Jeremiah, Jp, ria, or tad ever disappointed you?

"... I don't think so. If they did it was superficial and never lasted or they made up for it. Tad did call me Mommy once but that was more cringe inducing than disappointing. And Jeremiah and JP did get close with Ashton, but that was just an unfortunate coincidence. Ria could never disappoint me."

"I don't know about these, I mean... the colour isn't exactly in my palette, do you think?" Looking at one of the cushions that had come off the sofa in the office she had moved into but hadn't done much to change besides going through the paperwork within, she held it up for Ria to inspect. Her input on such things was exactly why Sada had brought her up here.

"I don't want to you know... erase him," Yes she did. "But... if I'm going to have to work in here, it'd be nice to have some of... me, in it, too, you know? And these are not me. I mean... Tobias had taste at least five decades older than he was. Who has tweed cushions?"
