One of my most favourite characters is actually from this really obscure and unknown show called the Invisible Network of Kids from France. I think it was ignored because it was flash animated, or it looked like a copycat of Code Lyoko.
It’s a shame though, since it was a really good show that I loved as a kid and rewatching the episodes I was inspired to post about it.
It’s basically about these four kids teaming up to fight an evil teacher called Ms Macbeth and her goldfish Vagner. The voice actress for her is the same as Aelita and Jeremy from CL making her one of the most respected voice actors I’ve ever come across. Just listen to the teacher in this show like seriously. Like honestly how is the maniac evil teacher, the sweet and innocent girl and the focused and intellectual genius voiced by the same person?
My favourite character in I.N.K. is actually and unpopular opinion here, Trixie. She was one the most interesting characters for me as a kid. Zero just came across as that badass emo like Yumi, Vin was an egotistical softie and Newton was a jokester inventor. But Trixie was always such a bossy strict and ordered girl. You can tell a lot from her character just from the opening of the show. In her section, everything is outlined, everything is properly ordered and neat.
She is usually the target of the villians. The new girl that arrives at school immediately goes for Trixie because she is the one that keeps everyone in check and knows the entire group’s as well as the school’s weaknesses. She knew exactly what people wanted and how to manipulate people and that made her a fascinating character for me.
There was also this really strange and intriguing connection between Trixie and Macbeth that was strongly hinted at in episodes like “Mice and Kids” but was thrown away since the show never got a second season.
Anyway, rant over, I’m done, and seeya.
I also post art if you wanna check that out.
