Goodbye ((MWAHAHHAHAHA))
((YES GOOD, I APPLAUD THIS VERY MUCH; MANG MANG I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF NOEL CAN COMMIT SUICIDE-- //SHOT))
Serah. I didn't tell you everything. I didn't tell you everything about my past, about what my real story was. About who I really am.
Remember how Alyssa got us trapped in the Void Beyond? And how Caius got to both of us and tried trapping us in dreams fabricated with our heart's desires? Can you recall my own dream world, my past? Caius kept egging me on to try and kill him, but I kept on refusing until...
Well, Serah, what I'm trying to say, is that I'm not the Noel you know. The one you've had all those adventures with, the one that brought you that message from Lightning, the one you saved from his dreamworld -- that wasn't me. That was... an alternate me, I guess. One that you saved before anything really terrible could happen.
The thing is, I'm a Noel you've never met before. In my past, when I fought Caius, I... I killed him. I took the powers of chaos from him, and became the one true Guardian.
He -- died in my arms, Serah. And that image had always haunted me.
Since then, I isolated myself. I couldn't live with the fact that I'd killed one of the people closest to me. And Caius' memories... I possess all of it, all of his knowledge, all of his strengths. I saw Yeul dying in my -- no, Caius' arms -- more times than I can count.
So I spent four hundred years in the Void Beyond. Reflecting, going through every piece of Caius' memories, and the visions that Yeul had instilled within him -- because I know those visions now. I know most of what has happened up and down the timeline, and I've been watching you, as well as keeping tabs on Yeul and Lightning.
But I couldn't face you all. Not yet.
Only Yeul I would keep contact with, keep company, because I was her Guardian now. I had to bear her numerous sorrows and timeless deaths.
With the Heart of Chaos in me, I was immortal, just like Caius was. I could never die.
This -- this was my eternal nightmare. Just as Caius had his before me.
But unlike Caius, I don't have a successor. I don't have someone to pass this Heart of Chaos to, and the fact that I have to keep on going for eternity.... I couldn't do it.
I don't know how you'll understand me, but I believe you'll understand me all the same. I'm sorry I lied to you, but I wanted to spend my final moments with you.
Thank you, Serah, and goodbye.

"Hey me!" Serah exclaimed, giving a small wave to the female. She was used to it now, even if every meeting was different from the next. Each and every version of herself had a new story and life, and by far she was probably the most messed up version, living in a world with no ageing or time. The Chaos had already infected the entire world, but she still lived a happy life. She could only wonder what this new Serah's life was like, and what time she came from.
