Duckvember: Haggard Duck
Resting isn’t an option for Ms. Fanny, as she’s the only one keeping Dr. Lederhosen’s reputation afloat.
Duckvember Day 4. Ms. Fanny has a habit of mothering her boss. For his own good, honest!
Ms. Fanny head turn.
Ms. Fanny-- Dr. Lederhosen’s over worked and very stressed secretary. I would like to thank @micaxiii for all the help with her redesign-- her contribution of changing the bill shape and glasses really helped solidify the design. Thank you!
Ms. Fanny (4, 10, 22, 48, 49)
4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?
I think Ms. Fanny came from a pretty average family. Middle class, didn’t really struggle too much. Being the middle child made it so that she felt unnoticed— her older and younger sisters being more rebellious. So that made Fanny feel she had to do her best to be less of a burden on her family. Doing her best in school, feeling like she was having to please everyone in order to make the house function in some sort of peaceful and orderly manner.
10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?
She’s a very educated woman— even if most see her as a lowly secretary. Fanny is the eyes and ears of the Lederhosen organization— doing everything from paperwork, to making sure her boss gets to all his appointments, and even things like making sure nothing tarnishes his image. She’s not against manipulating and getting a little dirty in order to accomplish whatever Dr. Lederhosen needs of her.
22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?
She sadly doesn’t have much of a support system herself. She’s used to feeling alone, though. She moved away from her family, taking up work for Dr. Lederhosen almost instantly. Her free time— what little she has, is mostly her curling up to a good book, or taking care of her plants around her flat.
As for Fanny’s love interest… she is in love with her boss. Completely devoted to the man. But she will never tell him, because Leder has no interest in her. She isn’t blind. All she wants is for him to be happy— and she won’t let anything stand in the way of that. Even her own feelings.
48. How are your character’s gestures? Vigorous? Weak? Controlled? Compulsive? Energetic? Sluggish?
Fanny is always moving. Even when she’s sitting down, she’ll always have a leg bopping, or wiggling her pens in her hands. She’s so used to running around to get everything done, it’s hard for her to stay still when she knows there is always something that needs to get done. The only time she gets to relax is in her home, and that’s usually when she’s worn out from running around all day.
49. What about voice? Pitch? Strength? Tempo and rhythm of speech? Pronunciation? Accent?
In my head I always imagine her with a higher pitch voice. Like Harley Quinn’s. That’s the voice I hear in my head.
