As part of our Sponsor a Kapon and Save Lives Program, also known as CNVR, and through the success of our recent Low-Cost Kapon event, we were able to provide two (2) free anti-rabies vaccinations to the rescue cats of the MSEUF Pet Society, namely Oreo and Cardo.
We were also prepared to sponsor the anti-rabies vaccination of their third rescue cat, Dara. However, she is currently experiencing flu-like symptoms and must first fully recover before safely receiving the vaccine π₯°
In addition to these free vaccinations, we were also able to provide free kapon (spay/neuter) to one of our own rescue cats, Felix π₯Ή
While two free vaccinations and one free kapon may seem modest to some, these efforts reflect our sincere commitment to helping as many animals as possible within our means. We remain dedicated to providing free vaccinations and kapon services whenever our financial capacity allows. We kindly ask for your understanding as we continue our fundraising efforts to extend these free services to even more fur babies across Quezon Province.
We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, which proudly hosts an extracurricular organization devoted to animal welfare and the promotion of responsible pet ownership - the MSEUF Pet Society.
At Cats of Quezon Province (CoQP), we sincerely hope and pray that more universities across Quezon Province will be inspired to follow this example by establishing their own student organizations dedicated to animal welfare βΊοΈ
Finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to every fur parent who participated in our Low-Cost Kapon event. The funds used to support these services came directly from the registration fees you generously provided. Your trust and support continue to make this mission possible ππ
