When I left my previous customer service company for better Cebu job opportunities, I felt it was time to accelerate my career. I wanted to spread my wings as a professional. Eager to expand my skills in customer experience, I was intrigued by TTEC which offers excellent opportunities for growth and development.
I was very excited to take on new challenges with the company. But, I was stepping into a Telco account. I felt a bit nervous about that because I had heard the reputation of that kind of work. I worried the job would be stressful, repetitive, and less rewarding. After many years working as a customer service representative in Cebu (CSR) in a Telco account with TTEC, I can address some of these concerns: Those issues could be true in other companies, but I haven’t experienced them much in TTEC.
Find a company that cares about employee well-being in Telco accounts
TTEC strongly supports employee well-being and work-life balance. These are very important to me. While many people associate working in Telco accounts with having to sacrifice a lot of personal time, that hasn’t been my experience in TTEC.
In fact, the flexible work scheduling I’ve enjoyed allows me to prioritize my family time. I truly appreciate that. Additionally, I’ve enjoyed building meaningful relationships with colleagues and mentors at work.
We have leaders who care about more than just the work and targets. They care about the team beyond our employment. We’re seen as people.
They see the value of camaraderie and invest a lot in team-building activities. This supportive work environment can make CSR positions in Cebu enjoyable, worthwhile, and much less stressful. Companies should prioritize employee well-being in Telco accounts like TTEC does.

TTEC’s supportive culture and focus on growth in our Telco account make me excited to come to work and strive for excellence every day. I don’t feel stuck here at all.
