All I can feel is the sense that the world is slowly adding more and more boulders, more burdens for me to struggle under the weight of. This is all in the abstract, nothing bad is happening to me, but it bears down on me and lives inside my head and in the nebulous ether, always looking like a shadow.   I hate that my fear and anxiety is holding me back from the life I want.

I’ve wanted to start a vlog or a podcast for quite a while. The two things that are holding me back are 1) the knowledge that I will be harassed by men and there’s nothing I can do about it and 2) the fact that I won’t be anonymous and inevitably, I’ll say something sarcastic and the internet will go on a Justine Sacco-esque witchhunt. :(

Steve Rogers would never diss feminism. Steve Rogers would never say, “That stuff about rape is horrible BUT...you’re too paranoid/the statistics are inconsistent/what about the menz?!” And this is why I often prefer to stay home, by myself, and go on tumblr. Fuck my life.

I WAS RIGHT! I WAS RIGHT ON TWO ACCOUNTS! Agent Sousa being promoted to a higher status, and I was right about Uranium being a plot point! :DD The last time I was right, I wrote an entire rooftop fight scene between Bucky and Cap.  I know it doesn’t mean anything in the long run but I’m so pleased when my fic ideas turn out to be the same ones Marvel had in mind.

Honest to God I’m so tempted to delete every male friend I have on Facebook since half of them are misogynists and none of them are capable of having a civil conversation on my posts where they disagree with me. I am so done with all of their shit.
