It's been a few weeks since I last posted a 'spread the love' special. For some reason I had the impression that I was being a pain in the... well. But it's about time that I thank these women for sharing all their knowledge, their fun, their creativity...
August’s Book for the Romtastic Bookclub!
Alrighty peeps, our first book for the club is Beauty And The Billionaire by Jessica Claire.
THE SHORT DESCRIPTION: Virgin recluse hero smitten w/ playful heroine from afar, workplace employer/employee dynamic.
THE LONG DESCRIPTION: Real-estate tycoon Hunter Buchanan has a dark past that’s left him scarred and living as a recluse on his family’s palatial estate. Hunter is ready to give up on love—until he spots an enigmatic red-haired beauty and comes up with an elaborate scheme to meet her.
Gretchen Petty is in need of a paycheck—and a change. So when a job opportunity in an upstate New York mansion pops up, she accepts. And while she can overlook the oddities of her new job, she can’t ignore her new boss’s delectable body—or his barely leashed temper.
Hunter’s afraid his plan might be unraveling before it’s truly begun, but Gretchen is about to show him that life can be full of surprises.
THE BOOK CLUB CHAT: On September 2nd at 6 pm Central Standard Time you’ll get a Google Hangout invite. Please message me with your Google account email if you want to participate.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Up to 10 people can video chat at a time in Google Hangouts. Each month I’ll rotate the 9 other video chatters, so everyone will have a chance to video if they want. Everybody else can chat along in the Hangout’s text chat. If you don’t want to video chat that month, or only want to participate via the text chat, that is totally okay. Just let me know.
For anyone who hasn’t received an invite to be a contributor on the Romtastic Book Club PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Or be sure to follow the blog so you don’t miss updates and posts from other club members about that month’s book.

Dear @msfehrwight and @romancingthebookworm, if there is one essential decorative element to a romance reader’s book nook it must be this beautiful, wooden bookmark from The Ripped Bodice. If it was Christmastime I’d hang it in my tree, but for now it is beautifying my desk. The quote on the second bookmark explains why fiction was my saviour when I was growing up, and thus lends special poignancy to a tool I find indispensable. It will definitely accompany my reading of In Debt to the Earl by Elizabeth Rolls, a veteran romance author I look forward to familiarising myself with. Covers are my weakness, and the elegance of this one absolutely delights me.
Thank you very much for your kind surprise, which will continue to give me joy for a long time forward!

My little bookish corner is almost two months old and during that time I've had the honor of meeting extraordinary women, all of them wise, witty, funny and kind women who make me feel like I've been here forever. The blogs above are only 9 of them ❤️❤️❤️
