She had been a really bad mood lately.
To be frank, the blonde hadn’t had a clue why either. Just everything and anything got to her, and she was in a constant scowl and struggle to either leave Ikebukuro alone or pummel it to the ground. Either way, people did suffer the poor wrath of a irritated, blonde monster.
Left and right, everywhere she went, there no doubt in anyone’s mind that one person would be thrown half way across the city or even have some large and heavy-weight objected tossed at them. It was just a matter of when and how long Shizuka could hold out.
Word got around, everyone assumed something was up with her, maybe she was on her period or maybe she lost her job. There was even rumour that she was dumped by some mysterious boyfriend, though none of those assumptions were correct and eventually Shizuo - her opposite and equal in strength heard of her acting out. Being worried about her, he decided that he’d take time out of his day to actually go an check up on her, to see what was wrong.
Which was how they got here, sitting at the park as the moon slowly began to come out and him listening to her talking about how she felt lately. Of course, being almost the same, he could relate and understood completely. He listened to her daily struggles, what she felt and how she’s been thinking lately and he couldn’t help but pity the poor woman. Shizuo inhaled his cigarette slowly, sighing out smoke as he shook his head.
"You really are a moron." He said, glancing at her as she scowled at him, her hand forming a fist. "You know, you just over-think too much. Just let things happen and half the stress you put up with would disappear. You don’t gotta put all that shit on your shoulders" The blonde patted her head.
"You’re an idiot Shizuo." She pouted a bit, eyes shifting to watching a couple walk across the street, she sighed. "…But yeah, I know. Thanks Shizuo." The woman returned her gaze to him, and she felt an urge, which caused her cheeks to be dusted with a faint pink blush from the mere thought.
Did she really need to do this?
Before thinking too much about it, Shizuka shifted; her arms wrapping around his waist and her body leaned into his from the side, hiding her face in his shirt so he wouldn’t see her. This was embarrassing enough as it was.
"…Thank you, for coming to check up on me…and letting me vent to you." Her words were muffled though, thanks to his shirt and the fact that she didn’t really want him to hear her.
