Frank Smith, Bisexual. Appears in WF 3,4,5,6, with supporting role in 3 and 6 and main role in 5. (he and Miles are boyfriends)
Kiefer Alma, Asexual. Appears as a main role in all 6 Water and Fire books. Possible aro, he's still figuring it out.
EzraIsKing "Ezra", Gay. Main role in msged
Chaser21 "Chase", Bisexual. Main role in msged. He and Chase meet online as "online practice boyfriends," later becoming an IRL couple as adults.
Simon, Gay. Appears in WF 1, 3, and 6, with a supporting role in 1 and 6. Has a boyfriend.

Alherba, Gay. Mentioned in WF 1-5, appears in 6. He had a tragic love story with a man.
Luveil, Lesbian. Main role in an upcoming book! A dragon-riding general with a nonbinary fiancé
Bekra, Gay. Main role in an upcoming book! Goes on a quest after his fiancé goes missing on a dangerous expedition.
Samson Alma, Questioning/Unlabled. Main POV character in all 6 WF. He's in love with the same girl for most of the series, but has experimented with/been attracted towards men as well.

Paiqua, gay. Simon's boyfriend, appears in WF 6
Andromeda, asexual/heteromantic. She appears in WF 3-6, but her sexuality is not discussed. I have ideas for prequels that would explore this.
Ke'ako, bisexual and genderqueer. He appears in WF 4, 5, and 6, but his sexuality/gender identity are not discussed. I have ideas for prequels that would explore this.
Other (possible) WF prequel queer characters include Storm Kingdom husbands Ka-tam Kuani and Ak-ta Sorel, Thika, MTF trans, first queen of Tarchenglass.
Kathir and Amun are other queer characters in the upcoming book.
