I love Gundam Witch because it has made me feel less worried about my own original story ideas
Like if Gundam-GUNDAM!-one of the biggest franchises out of Japan can make a show that is transparently a RWBY Whiterose au, then I don't need to be too worried about my own story with characters heavily inspired by Ruby and Weiss

A lot of us probably would have been satisfied with just a female lead, but the creators went and doubled down and said "Not good enough, we're gonna make it Gay as fuck (and also a Whiterose au)"
