Crabcakes….that’s pretty good. He’s just upset because his Plain Jane has left him for a while without any prior word about it.

What is wrong with this girl? You hope that Plain Jane is having a good time in your universe as you make your way up into that apartment again. You need to explain to this Mr.Scofflaw that you aren't the Jane he had before. Or...you can play up with this sad story and maybe get a little further. Focus!  With a nervous face you walk in and close the door behind you. There he was, he looked really really upset with you. Wait, he looked at you. He's not wearing glasses in this universe!.....OH NO HE'S HOT! That's the only thing you're thinking about as you sit down in front of him and keep your eyes on your knees. 

"Hello Mr.Scofflaw. I'm sorry about earlier, I'm just not....me? This is going to sound strange, but you have to believe me! I'm not Jane. Your Jane that is." You glance up at him and frown, when it all came down to it you just wanted to go home.
