It’s not just that though. He also has crippling depression, as addressed a few times. One of the lines in the book is “I got my hearts desire; and there my troubles began” and that’s the thing with depression you can get every thing you ask for but it’s never gonna be enough or make you happy. Idk if you’ve read the books or not but it really does give you a look at like real depression and especially Quentin and his depression. The show does a decent job. But that’s living with depression.

I know. I’m living with the same disorder. It just kind of kills me because he has this, and he’s fought tooth and nail for it, and on top of the depression, he’s lost so much just to get to where he is. Even if he weren’t depressed, he’d have an incredibly difficult time appreciating, and loving, Fillory for what it is anymore. 

His dream was shattered.

He may have done that but he also wrote and created some of the most badass women of our entire generation. Although I'd rather have someone else regardless.

oh absolutely, i love a lot of his work. i would love to see a female writer/directors take on batgirl but since it is his project i’m hoping he’ll give her a chance to be badass
