honestly i think going to work in disney world! i moved away (for the first time!) to a different country without knowing anyone and to do a job completely unlike anything i’d done before

i have a complicated answer to this, because the song is about knowing someone has a need to be loved and how she understands that and they don’t have to be ashamed, and the chorus is “you need someone to love you / you need someone to hold you / tonight / someone to love you” and then the bridge is just the line “it doesn’t have to be me” and it changes the entire feeling of the song and i’m obsessed with that, it goes from being about the other person to being about ‘i realized this is a need you have that isn’t actually about me’ and it gives me FEELINGS

what are your favorite jenny/rilo songs/lyrics? are you still thinking about getting that tattoo?

ugh the tattoo hasnt happened because i felt like i overthought it. i still want more tattoos for sure, just hasnt happened yet.

my favorite rilo songs are pictures of success, a better son/daughter, more adventurous, with arms outstretched, and the absence of god.

favorite jenny songs are acid tongue, rise up with fists!!, melt your heart, head underwater, and you are what you love.
