I think the Monster World is a clothing optional society (no, don't act like I'm doing something gross because of this,, they're non-human beings that reproduce through literal magic)
The things sometimes worn vary a lot between isands, based on obvious factors such as climate and availible materials. Though I think something Moster culture as a whole would have in common would be to adorn music-producing body parts in some way, as seen with this Floogulll. Things like a Reedling's flutes or a Xyster's tail- just anything that draws attention to that area of the body.
Monsters with an instrument as an actual part of their body are 100% the best things

I LOVE Floogull 🥹 one of my favorite fire monsters fr, has a really good sound too and a cute design
